Do you guys eat the typical shit like we do in Canada? The turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes etc.....??? Or is that just american stuff.
I come from a very italian household, so we had an assortment of pastas along with the regular stuff. Normally a lasagna, manicotti, meatballs, scungilli salads, then the regular turkey and stuff.
Then on christmas we eat the feast of 7 fishes the day before the christmas turkey....
I like traditions, gives me something expected to look forward to, unlike trying to figure out which Josh Allen will show up Sunday.
I am starving now.
BOL Mac happy holiday

of course. That is a classic. Isn't john candy canadian? Maybe he isn't but for some reason I think he is. Could be wrong
I used to like turkey more when I was younger, but as I grew up the turkey was more of a vehicle for the thanksgiving side dishes. Sweet potatoes are possibly the most underutilized food ever. You can put mashed sweet potatoes on a dirty pair of socks and they will still taste good. I prefer a good ham over the turkey if I have a choice.
Perogies are underrated also. I like them fried with onions in butter, and sour cream. Potato perogies with just a little cheese in there.
