yes the money changes hands. Yes, he wins the bet, the next day, the money he wins from the bet, he repays the customers back their money from the promotion. If he loses the bet, he don't have to repay the customers. Like I've said before, this dude is better off losing his bets. In all cases, when he loses his bets, he keeps his store profit from the huge promotion.

dude, for the last time. Yes, he won the Astros world series bet. His store promotion was. "If the Astros win the world series, you get back double what you paid for the mattresses". If you spent 3K at his store, if the Astros won, you get back 6K. So once again. The day after he won the Astros bet, he had to pay back his customers more than he actually won with the Astros bet. He came up negative.

You guys are really getting bogged down on semantics here. It just a hedge, nothing more. This last week, the promotion was any bed over $3k bought this week was free if Dallas wins. So if Dallas wins, the bet covers the payments back to customers. I don't understand why people have angst or calling people out in this, just a hedge. Dude does it every big championship, all promos and shit. He gets free advertising as well. Money changes hands but his business also makes shit loads of money...

The promotion right now that's been going on for a week. "If Dallas beats San Francisco, if you spend more than 3K on mattresses, you get back double your money". This is why he made a $2 million wager on Dallas money line. That's to cover his loss. If Dallas loses, he will actually make more money, because his store probably made 10 million this week. So again, he's actually better off if he loses his bets.

no he didn't, he lost all of it and then some. I live in houston. I know the details, but go to Forbes magazine. It's right there. Y'all don't understand. So many people were buying mattresses during the Astros world series bet, they had to stop the promotion. They stopped the promotion, because they realized, he was going to be negative if it kept going. Well, he came up negative anyway.
