Tonight's game is so tough. Like every NFL game, we need to figure out
who the league wants to win this game. Make no doubt about it, the
officials and their subjective officiating will influence the spread and
over/under. Make no doubt about it, the coaches and their play calling
(or lack there of) will influence the outcome of this game. This is the one league where players do not decide the games, they are just the puppets.
With all the public on Det, GB seems like the obvious choice.... but is it? Do they possibly give away some money tonight and get it back and more next week? Are they setting up the Lions for a beat down on Thanksgiving (their next prime time game)? Damn, this league does a good job of hiding their intentions!

you and I think the same way ,I look forward to seeing more of your posts
Pdouble When I view the NFL from a different lens, I see things that I never imagined could exist. I know Achilles shares some of the same thoughts, which is why I enjoy checking out his threads. I'll be sure to look for your posts as well

Respectfully, any previous stats between these two teams have to be thrown out the window. Rodgers, arguably the best player in the NFL is not playing tonite and all those stats include his presence. This comes down to Hundley and Stafford imo. Who makes the mistakes? Who makes the throws? Many will take Stafford. Seems easy huh?
Achilles, all due respect man, but it seems too easy to take the Packers plus 2. Stafford is no one honestly, decent qb for sure but not top 10 in the league. He is the better qb here and GB is going to play clock management all game long and try and keep the ball out of Stafford's hands. Hey, GB may very easily win, but I don't see it your way that it's a gift to take Detroit -2? They've won in Lambeau 1 time out of the last 26 games and they are favorites?

The tug is definitely Stafford tonite. The minute I come to a conclusion I think to myself....but it's Stafford and he's due! Well hes due alright and he's now basically the richest player in the NFL! I was always look for the bait and I go back to the World Series. Many took the bait on Kershaw game 5 and many took the bait on Verlander game 6. Both losses. At the end of the day I firmly believe it's about money and I'd like to think that if Rodgers is coming back, the push will be on the Packers. I feel if the Packers are to win though, we may some a little more passing.....

Packers get their offensive line back together and in tact. This o-line has been bad with their missing parts. I am sure Hundley feels a little bit better with the boys back. Lambo field as a home dog always spells trouble for the opponents. Hundley did do well against the Saints with his first start of his career. The guy was up 14-7 at half and went into the third quarter only down 2 points. Saints is a very good and under rated team this year.
Another question to ask is, when is the last time the Packers lost two in a row at home?
Mainly though I lean packers because of the Lions. Piss poor coach that gets lucky once in awhile and Stafford is a horrible and over paid QB. Their defense is what carries them every year. Stafford is in his 9th season in the NFL and has 0-3 playoff record. Tells you something about the guy.
I took the under but I lean Green Bay.

I think this will come down to how Mayor McCheese (MM) calls the game for Brett. Is he going to be timid like he always is, or is he going to open it up a bit for the young fella. I think the line is suspect at best. Its almost like there begging you to bet Detroit, if McCheese opens it up and lets him throw it around the pack has a chance. If he calls plays like he did versus NO forget it!
