Interesting point you've made regarding Smith being under pressure tonight. I looked at that angle and I studied the reason he was sacked 5 times against Miami. 3 of the 5 sacks were stunt blitzes through the A and B gaps when Davis missed his blocking assignment. Charles will be back tonight so I'm assuming he has a better grasp of blocking assignments than the rookie. The other main reason KC'S offensive line has looked bad is because Smith hasn't checked down, he's held onto the ball way too long. These mistakes are very correctable and Smith has a high football IQ. I expect to see the Chiefs execute on shorter routes, three step drops and dump offs out of the flat to help correct mistakes made against the Dolphins and Chiefs.

You and I both agree that flat betting is the way to go in the long term but I'm not as disciplined as the next guy so I'm not the right one to talk to regarding money management. I had big money on Lions and Cowboys and everything else was standard. Unconventional betting style for me but it has worked for years.

You;re right that the Saint's are a bad team as of now. Our corner's are terrible & our defensive line look's like they are just out there to collect a paycheck...I'm looking really hard at taking the Buc's Sunday. Until some of these player's get off their behind's and start playing like they want to be out there...The Saint's will be on the outside looking in come post season...

i know absolutely zero about american football,gridiron.(non-american)and so i looove reading your posts with the insight and knowledge you provide...brilliant and fascinating and i learn a lot in just a few paragraphs every week...huge thanks to you for sharing and opening a forum of discussion that gives so much reasoning and debating points,plus clarifies wats important in the basics of the game for an idiot like me..awesome!!!

Amd, I was riding KC all the way, but when I saw Charles was going to play, it made me change my pick to NE. KC coach might give most of the snaps to an not fully healthy Charles, therefore decreasing Davis' snap count and possible production.

Took NE-3, then the line jumped to NE-4.5 fter a few mins.

I like Charles for his pass blocking more than anything else. Davis has been effective on the ground but does not understand pass blocking schemes whatsoever. Thats a sharp jump from 3 to 4.5 but I still love my play. Bol

Where did your line jump to -4.5? The line is at 3 and 2.5 at all of the major books as of 8:25 pm est
