NE looked unstoppable, Gronk, Edleman is playing like the NE Champ team we are accustomed too. DEN barely got pass PIT, without their PIT's key players. So the point spread is correct, NE should be the fav, but if one really look into this matchup, NE's WR are small and their passing game are mainly dink and donks, with the occasion GRONK factor, and with a running game, DEN's D will eat them alive, or at least not play like how they did today, worried about the deep ball and gave up a bunch of short stuff that turn into long gains with the yard after the catch. On the flip side, DEN will have a much easier time moving the ball on NE's D, NE do not have that speed factor with their LB's, so DEN's O will look that much more balance. Just a lean, but a lot have to take place for me to get off this DEN lean, if half of those dropped balls by DEN WR's were caught, this game would not have been that ugly.
ARI +3
CAR's D have one weakness, its their pass D on the deep ball, BA know this and will keep running the ball to a minimum, they will attack DEEP all game long, and it is also the only way to slow down #58 #59 of CAR, or Palmer might not make it pass the first half. On the flip side, ARI's DBs have the speed to matchup with Brown and GINN with their man coverage and bring the biltz, only concern is CAM breaking thru the bitlz first wave and run wild, but unless he runs for over 200 yards, running and beating the biltz will only do so much.

This Broncos fan did not enjoy todays game at all.
Cant imagine what next weekend will be like.....oh yes i can....Pats destroy the Broncos 30-13
How long have you been a DEN fan? or been a NFL fan? Im not lock in on DEN just a lean, but from what I saw today, if I was a fan of DEN, I do not see NE destroying my team. Like I said in my post, NE and PIT have different type of O, if NE want to mimic PIT's O today, half those times the ball will be knocked down or picked. How tall is NE's WR? Besides Gronk that have height advantage very one else is small and do not have the speed of those PIT WRs.

PIT like many teams (eg. GB/ARZ/CAR) are a vertical offense. NE is different, Brady is good but not great at the deep ball and the NE offense isn't designed the same way as PIT. You can play man-to-man against traditional routes where its a competition to see who wins a WR/CB matchup, but the Pats are more about getting the ball out quick with YAC and you can be sure they will be throwing to whoever is covering Gronk (likely Talib) and Edelman/Amendola on short crossing routes which is tough to stop.
Harris is also going to be limited next week and I wouldn't trust Roby to be able to shadow Edelman. In the past 15+ years, the only way to get to Brady unless you have an all-world edge rush like the Giants did in SB42 is to apply consistent A-gap pressure up the middle. For example, against a mobile QB like Rodgers its more important to contain him from the edge, but with Brady its the opposite. NE will spread out DEN so that they can't disguise their coverage and Brady will keep getting rid of the ball in less than 2 seconds.
On defense for NE, they'll likely stack the box and try to tee off on Manning (without blitzing) as the Denver oline is very poor.
Barring turnovers and zebra influence, NE should both win SU and cover imo. BOL with whatever you decide.

YES, these teams are in some way chosen by the league based on poularity and potential viewership. The minute you guys learn that, you will become instantly smarter.
If it's NE vs. ARI, does that mean your theory is completely wrong and you will admit that? Who wants to see old Manning lying on the back against either the Panthers or Cards pass rush? You can't tell me it's a better story than Brady and Pats defending their title after deflategate against either the most complete team (Cards) or the new sherrif in town (Panthers). I for myself like NE vs. ARI and the game will fly over the total.
Krazz, I cannot agree more with drewskie here about NE/DEN but agree completely with Cards.

I agreed and disagreed with most what you said, if Brady is going to throw within 2 seconds to the short WR, I love DEN's SS and FS to lay the wood, as for pass rush, I am not sure NE have a running game, and even if they do plant o run, I am not sure if DEN will respect it, like you said Brady is good but not great on the deep ball, if NE plan to dink and dunk around those 2 second short passes on DEN, I will love to have that as the game plan if I'm DEN. Hard to guess which way the calls will go with he REFs, but I do how ever factor in TurnOvers, cause I think the world of this DEN D!! A key fumble recovery lead to DEN comeback in yesterdays game.
Good luck, love that debate, keep it coming guys!!

That is my prediction at this very moment, DEN win so, not sure how I will be wasting any money.
If you truly believe poularity and potential viewership is everything about betting NFL, why aren't the PACKERS, STEELERS, COWBOYS and RADIERS in it year in and year out????
X and O, Injuries, mommentum, Players Talent, Coachingand LUCK have a lot to do with who win and who lose.

I am not going to LIE, NE playing in the SB sounds good, but I am not sure they get past DEN's D this week. Not saying NE do not have a shot to win the game, heck they are Fav by 3.5 points, but if those WR's caught half of those drops, maybe the game would look a lot different yesterday, and NE's LB do not have that speed factor PIT's LB can bring, maybe most of those no gains will turn into 3-4 yards runs. A lot of IF's, but at 3.5 I do like DEN, and like them a lot, but its just a lean.
ARI on the other hand have the O to bring it to CAR, and BA their HC isn't one to play by the book, everything is pointing towards ARI giving it their best, and if they do lose, I know it won't be cause of game plan and preparation.
Good SUUMA, bad season for me this year, sitting at +2 units and some change, looking to end the season on a good note, might bring my unit play 3x this next 3 games.

If there is a bet on how many times the Pats will run during three quarters, I would pound the under. What I love about Bill Belichick is that he knows that running doesn't put you points on the board. Last season, no one was able to run on the Ravens. The Pats called 2 run plays all game and dropped 35 points. In the first Jets game this year, Pats had 2 or 3 running plays. Against the Chiefs? 7 running plays by RBs. When Bill knows that he can't run, he just doesn't run. This is some thinking I miss on several coaches. Don't expect the Pats to prepare for running on Sunday. They will spread it out all game long. If the Broncos stack the flat with a safety to contain the crossing routes, McDaniels will call 2 or 3-TE sets to create mismatches against the linebackers. Either way, the only chance for the Broncos to compete is when they are able to move the chains. Pats have some issues in their secondary, Butler's height vs. DeMarius Thomas and poor coverage skills by Logan Ryan - but their front seven is a favorable matchup against Peyton's protection.

I can tell you that and I will. Deflatwgate isn't the ONLY time the Pats have gotten caught cheating, in case you haven't heard. Many, many football fans believe the Pats tampered with the footballs. Sure, Kraft has much pull in the league and was given a major pass by Goodell in Spygate by having the tapes destroyed. The record fine was misdirection that many of you bought hook, line and sinker. For the Pats to win the SB would be a slap in the face to the 31 other owners. You STILL don't get it, do you?
The NFL is an entertainment entity. Its anti-trust status allows it to manipulate outcomes of games as they please---with ZERO fear of legal consequences. I'll give you three clear-cut SBs off the top of my head that were engineered by the NFL:
1) Pats win SB right after 9/11
2) Saints win SB right after Hurricane Katrina
3) Harbaugh vs Harbaugh Bowl (BAL vs SF)
The NFL conducted a poll last season, asking fans which SB matchup they would most like to see. The overwhelming response was SEA vs NE. Guess who played in the SB last year?
Peyton Manning is seen as football royalty. ZERO blemishes on his record as far as cheating, PEDs, etc. This Al Jazeera story will dissipate within a month, or less. You can't have his little bro, Eli, go out with more rings than the more popular and proficient Peyton. Just wouldn't seem right. Plus, Elway has 2 rings. He brought Manning to DEN. Would seem fitting if Manning won his 2nd ring and matched Elway, which would make Elway's executive prowess seem all that otherworldly. Are you feeling me yet? One last nugget. Manning has one foot out the door. A SB win for him as a swan song is a MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better story than NE winning amid a cheating scandal in which everyone and their mother knows they were not inoocent victims in. Only sheep like you believe the "Deflator" is a weight-loss term. Only sheep like you belive a player and coach known for their unreal attention to detail, had no knowledge balls were tampered with. Right. You cna point to Brady winning in court, and I'll point to the fact that OJ, Bonds and Clemens all won, too.
I'll cut this short, as I think I've made my point. As for my admitting I was wrong, I will do so happily, but will NEVER, EVER deviate from my belief that the NF Lfixes games. WHY? Because I am smart and am able to deuce, infer and add 2 and 2. Also, if I am right in my assessments, you will NOT give credence to my claims. Like all other sheep, you will simply chalk it up to my "getting lucky". Let's keep it real.
Only one way to find out. See you after the Super Bowl!
Sometimes its best to cap the game in itself, all the other stuff to me are maybe / maybe not.......

Exactly my point, DEN will factor in NE's game plan of NOT running and instead of stacking the box with 8, they will rush 2 to the QB and 2 to contain the running lane and play a 7 man coverage bubble, NE ran the ball 16 times last time they played, I think most will feel like you and me, it will be even less this game. I agreed NE have a good plan each week, but I just do see NE putting up 35 points and moving the chains as they wish. On the flip side, Manning isn't who he use to be, and his O line isn't good, but NE can be ran on, DT do create a miss matchup, and if the running game is going good, Manning when given the chance can still make the correct read. This game to me is going to be a better game than most people predict, catching 3.5 points with DEN playing at home with that D to me is a plus. I am not LOCKED and LOADED with DEN being my bet, but I dont see many reason to back NE laying 3.5 right now.
Good luck SUUMA which ever way you chose to bet!!

This game to me is going to be a better game than most people predict, catching 3.5 points with DEN playing at home with that D to me is a plus. I am not LOCKED and LOADED with DEN being my bet, but I dont see many reason to back NE laying 3.5 right now.
