I think it's comical if people put in 40 hours a week into making picks considering they will probably do about as well or poor as people who put in 40 minutes, or 40 seconds, or a coin flip for that matter.
As for long write ups it really is a waste because a lot of what goes into those long write ups is usually irrelevant crap. Stats from years ago that don't matter this season, etc Long write ups are just a waste of time.
One last thing. Only thing worse than a square is a square that thinks he is a sharp.
More than anything, since I've joined, all I see is post after post about ''I hope this qb's family gets cancer'' or 'I hope this teams plane crashes'' Also post after post crying fixes. It's absurd.
Having said that, I've read some quality analysis of games from many people on this site that I find to be a good read and sometimes they will bring up a stat or injury update or something important that I may have missed or simply didn't know or understand.
It doesn't have to be a full page ,but something to back up why u like a pick .One or two lines even .The waste of time and space is with those who post the BOL or

The forum suppose to be about winning money ,not that you were right or wrong ,who cares .We don't even know each other . We all have a common ground we love sports and love winning money more, .I don't care if Im right I care if I win . If your not going to contribute than just read on find a pick you like and bet .Know one cares that u agree ,we care if you can add to our reasoning or show why we are on the wrong side . United we stand divided we fall Lets turn this forum around
