First, the prelude and caveats: I'm much more of a college capper than a pro capper. Also, it is my opinion the NFL is more about entertainment and viewership, than it is about conducting fair and honest sporting contests.
With that said, here's my angle: The NFL has had a pretty rough year (no need to list the reasons and scandals, as most of us understand what that are). Seems to me the NFL would want to put on a sporting contest with a high entertainment value, which will also be conducted against fine, upstanding citizens and organizations. You know, to remove some of the stigma and potentially improve its public profile.
So, from my understanding of current events, we have four organizations that, pretty much, are clean. However, with Indianapolis, we have the Irsay DUI and pill-popping scandal. That is not an image the NFL wants to portray. Throw them out and we are left with the absolute darlings of the NFL, as near as I can tell.
I think the Patriots are a lock (the "cheating" scandal from a few years ago has certainly left the minds of the average citizen, if they ever knew about it to begin with). Of course, if you do not think the Patriots are clean enough to advance, please state your reasons why.
Can anyone narrow this list further, especially among the NFC combatants, to the squeakiest of the squeaky clean?
Or, in other words, which NFC team is the cleanest to advance?
Your serious thoughts are appreciated. Your vitriolic hating comments are likewise appreciated, but please be literate and eloquent in your slander.
Cheers

I would think the NFL would want the Colts to advance. "Luck beats Peyton." Luck being the future star of the league, this is going to be his league and to have him go into Denver and beat the almighty Peyton. And for him to go into NE and beat Brady another Hall of Fame QB. This is what the NFL wants!!! Luck is the NFLs baby. and for him to make it to the super bowl would give them more ratings than if Brady made it. Peyton and Brady's time are is done.
As for the NFC. I like Seattle as of now. its tough for me to chose but like I said Wilson... Luck... this is the future of the NFL. Having a Luck vs Wilson super bowl would have the highest ratings IMO. Thats the future of the NFL right there.

Rogers is still the best, Brady has the rings, no contest! Wilson good, Luck will be great one day! PACKERS and Patriots bigger markets than Seahawks/Colts! Pats/Patriots got highest viewings in years earlier this year! It will be rematch! Colts one year away yet! What comes around goes around for Seattle this weekend? Failmary revenge, it just would not happen on opening night because all the attention is on receiving superbowl rings!

wilson will have the rings, and the ratio of superbowl winning years to non superbowl winning years at 2:1. should be 3:0 but pete carroll called a timeout...

GB with a gimpy AR vs NE will be a blowout for NE on a neutral field. And I cant see AR surviving against that SEA defense. It looked like IND will continue climing up the ranks each year. Last year he made it past the wild card only to get smoked in the Divisional against NE. This year he got past CIN and he made it past DEN, but he will have to wait til next year because NE is not losing to the one-dimensional Colts. The only way either loses is if the NFL fixes the game, which we all know is entirely possible. But why would they? SEA vs NE would be the money game. I don't want to see SEA vs IND or GB vs NE. If Rodgers was healthy, then Id want GB, but GB has no chance against NE, let alone SEA.

The best SB matchup will be SEA vs NE.

If brady gets another ring this year he should retire on top. Super Bowl 42 revenge in Arizona.
