Last year it was put out there that Jordan Sparks had practiced it and it was a given she was going over. I did not see this until after the fact. These are a close to the L word as we can get.
Anyone know who is signing? We should really take a look into once that happens and the rehearsing occurs, what the outcome will be. This should be a potential money maker.

I've actually played the over in the national anthem bet the past 2 years, both easily went over. Some of these power vocal singers they get for the anthem really like to hold those notes. GL

Pete Townshend revealed the set list in the
newest issue of Billboard.
"We're kinda doing a mashup of stuff,"
the guitarist tells Billboard. "A bit of 'Baba O'Riley,' a bit of 'Pinball
Wizard,' a bit of the close of 'Tommy,' a bit of 'Who Are You,' and a bit of
'Won't Get Fooled Again.' It works -- it's quite a saga. A lot of the stuff
that we do has that kind of celebratory vibe about it -- we've always tried to
make music that allows the audience to go a bit wild if they want to. Hopefully
it will hit the spot."

In Colorado for the 2007 World Series, she did it in 1 min 33 seconds. What's the SB line?
The sexy vixens pipes were most likely frozen back then in Colorado. I bet she trys to stretch it out a little bit longer this time although she is not the kind of singer I'd expect to butcher the anthem by trying to twist it into a pop song.
I know the person I'm about to mention has had a recent checkered past but I'd like to see Whitney Houston give it another try. She could always lip sync like many performers do.

i cant believe you can bet on the over under how long the song takes. ive heard alot but i never even thought about betting the length of the anthem. sadly the line change after rehearsal will probably dictate the answer making this not as degenerate a bet as i first thought. but still lol

My memory is not the greatest as I can't even remember who sung it last year. But I remember seeing youtube videos of the singer's past anthem performances and a practice run a few days before the game. Both videos had it under the line by maybe 5 secs. But during super bowl sunday, she held the last note long enough to cover the over by a second. I didn't bet it, but I think that is what happened. Anybody with money on it last year remember?
