As a very critical Pats fan, I typically think they will screw things up. This year is no exception
However, this is such a perfect matchup for them. Indy has no secondary. Brady quite conceivably will pass for 500+ yards and 5+ TDs. I do think Orlovsky is an improvement over Painter; but, this guy hasn't played in a long time.
I think this is an epic rout. Something like 52 - 13
Orlovsky played on the 0-16 Lions back in 2008.............does history repeat for him..............

the reason people might be scared off by the 20+ line is the fact the 16-0 pats failed to cover those huge spreads in 2007. the critical difference here is that they were laying 25 against philly and baltimore. this indy team is one of the worst in the modern era. possibly even worse than the 0-16 lions. de ja vu mr orlovsky

Wish you luck. I've made money with the Pats this year so I can't knock them but it's too many points for me.
Why would they keep Brady/gronk in the game in the 4th if the score is something like 34-10??? If I was BB I would be looking at this with the potential to rest my key guys as a pseudo bye week.
Maybe this ends up as a +21 blowout but you'd kick yourself losing ATS to the colts!!

Not totally! These were the 20 pt spreads for NE in 2007 and their records that year!!
NYJ 4-12 Philly 8-8 MIA 1-15 Balt 5-11
So actually NE went 0-4 ats in spreads 20+ in 2007!

I disagree...........this season, teams on a bye week werent allowed to practice & this game here is a great way to fine tune your machine as a coach..............Pats might rest their players in the 4th quarter after being up 45-10............Pats went to work on the Chiefs in the 2nd half, that only 2 quarters vs Palko............I see nothing but a blowout here, there wont be any room for a backdoor cover here.............

Man, I don't like looking at those stats when a team needs to cover X spread and how it does against it...I like looking at the 2 teams I am playing right now, look at their condition and think wether or not that bet I am making makes sense to me and do I see any value in it. I can tell you that except that awful 2 games vs the Giants and the Cowgirls, new England has really been insanely good this year...Well they lost to the Bills, but that was just an awful fluke and a little bit of underestimation probably...The only game I've watched their asses whooped was that game vs the Steelers - big Ben and his boys simply kicked Brady in the teeth. But really, when they win, they win hard - you can ask Philly, the Jets or Philip Rivers and his ridiculous team - those lines we see are something built on statistics and season performance and whatever, but the real situation here is what it was in New Orleans in that Monday Night Game - the classes here are different, and if you want an accurate HC line for this game - I don't think anyone can give it to you right now. I know bookies don't go higher than 3TD margin, but if any game in history needed one - this is it. For me, the real spread here should be 35 points on even odds - this is how I see things, because Brady will pass for at least 6 TD in this game and here comes the question can the Colts at least score 1 for them??? I see this game 49-7 or 49-10, but really this HC even though it seems way too high is nothing else but way too low for this game. And if you want to lose your money - go play on the plus on the Colts, but don't forget I have warned you.

Whitesnake, But the point of it is the year they were 16-0 when they won they won HARD EXCEPT FOR THE 4 games vs the 20+ spreads and then 2 others.Sp just like in that year they looked the same going into those 20+ games.I meanbesides those 4games they went 10-2 ats spread that year, they were smashing teams but why I question and my question is why didnt they coverall 4 of those games with the SAME QB AND COACH??

GB/Giants over 52 - 5K to win 4650$ Lions/Saints over 53.5 - 4K to win 3880$ A parlay: NE -20.5, GB/Giants over 52 and Lions/Saints over 53.5 - 3300$ to win 19935 GL to all, these are one of my strongest plays this year.

MJ, these are two different scenarios imo........the Pats in 2007 opened up the season & caught everyone off guard blowing out teams left & right & finally Vegas smartened up & adjusted because no matter who the Pats played, they were a covering machine.
This season they are not in that mode but after the 2 losses SU & 3 losses ATS in a row, they finally woke up & started to play better. This Pats team isnt the same like back in 2007..........the spread vs the Colts reflects how pathetic the Colts are than how good the Pats are this season.
Only reason the Pats were favored by 17 to the Chiefs was a 1st time starter was playing his 1st career start on Monday night to a Pats team that was starting to click...........tomorrow we have the worst team possibly in NFL history to play the Pats & the line is correct.............Vegas knows this will be a blowout & they are trying to get money on both sides............I personally would have made the line Pats -26.5...............
Again, this line reflects more so of how bad the Colts are than how well the Pats are playing......................

Of course but the Dolphins also covered 5 games that year............Colts only 2 so far & they may cover more & it may happen this weekend, I could be way off on this game but my money is still on the Pats & if the Colts do cover this week, I will bet the Ravens big next week against the Colts...............
I know these teams all have pro players on both sides but the teams the Pats were covering against in 2007 werent falling apart in every aspect of the word like the Colts are this season...............
Tom Brady broke his leg in week 1 several years ago & that team still went 11-5............its unbelievable that one man can make such a difference for this Colts team...........this Colts team has no heart because their leader, Manning is out for the season??
Blowout is coming.....................

They can't practice on a bye week, HAHAHA wow where u get this shit? What is it an extra 2 days off LOL.
So your take on this game: NE didnt practice on the bye--> Therefore they will be rusty?(With BB as coach...rusty LOL) --> b/c they are rusty BB will have them run up the score.
I don't know who's worse, PTB spreading this crap when he knows tons of people follow his opinion, or the OP who makes his PLAY OF THE YEAR on a team laying 20 with a shit D.

LMFAO , Do people even watch football? Or just spout off garbage for fun. The colts have absolutely nothing to play for here. Nothing. Their going to be forced to throw early and often , in order to try and keep pace with NE. For all you ESPN slurpers , why don't actually watch the games. Instead of just listening to w/e know nothing is on TV. NE's defense isn't that bad. You can't judge a defense in forays NFL by how many yards a team gives up. Their only giving up about 20 ppg. Does anbody seriously think Indy is going to put up more than 17-20 points? Again we are talking about Tom fuking Brady and BB here. LOL You think their going to feel bad for Indy? No, BB is going to stick it to them. Did you hear him talking about how happy he is to be a part of this franchise and the fact that they almost made the playoffs in 08 w/out 12. BB will have np scoring til there is no time left on the clock.
