All Sports are scripted whether you accept that or not... People on here cry about people that make threads saying it is rigged solely cuz they lost a bet... You dont even have to bet on sports to know this garbage is scripted... They are terrible actors, they dont even try to hide it anymore which is why both the NBA and NFL are unwatchable... I watch Baseball but no where near as much as i use to cuz it is slowly becoming unwatchable as well.. I just dont understand why nerds on here get so mad when someone says a sport is rigged which it is... Tons of former players could come out and say it is scripted and fans would still deny it and just say that player had too many concussions during their playing career... People are just programmed to believe everything they read or see on TV or the internet... This isnt just for sports but politics and other stuff.. If you are vaccinated and you wear a mask, you are a puppet... I am going off topic but just last year, the media was telling people to stay home and stay safe, one week later, the media is telling people to go out and protest... And what did people do, they went out and protested like puppets..

The mathematical standard deviation dictates that lots of NFL games will finish close to the point spread and/or the total. If they didn't nobody would ever bet teasers. In fact, it happens more often than the bookmakers would like because they produce live teaser legs. They certainly wouldn't fix games to be "interesting" because the sportsbooks would NOT like paying off most of the teasers.
When I began sports betting in 1980 6-point teasers paid off at even money. The sportsbooks must have been losing money (or they just wanted to win even more), so they changed it to -110. It is now only -120 at Heritage.
Divide 120 by 220 means you have to win 54.5454% of your teasers just to break even. The square root of .545454 is .7385 which is what you need picking teaser legs just to break even. I certainly can't do that over the long term. Good luck to you if you can.
As far as "fixes," that could NEVER be kept secret. The Watergate conspiracy brought down a Presidency thanks to an honest whistleblower. There are 32 NFL teams with 53-man rosters. Organized crime or the NFL could never keep 1,696 players quiet. Somebody with a conscience would step forward.

@Degenerate Saw this in another thread which perfectly explains why going for two there is the right call. If you still think it’s rigged you should stop gambling immediately. If you make it, you kick an extra point at 100% accuracy. This means that you win 50% of the time when you score twice. b. If you miss the first 2-point, then you can try again on the second one for a 50% chance again of tying. 50% x 50% = 25%, so you tie 25% of the time. c. If you miss both, you lose 25% of the time. So if you go for extra points, your W/T/L percentage is 0/100/0 but if you go for 2-points it's 50/25/25. If you consider that the ties take you to overtime where you have a roughly 50/50 chance of winning or losing at that point, they become 50/0/50 for EPs and 62.5/0/37.5 for 2Ps. In reality, the extra points perform even worse when you consider that extra points are less than 100% in reality while 2 points are almost exactly 50%. And if your chance of winning in overtime is less than 50%, it skews even harder towards two point tries.
Fazz: Too much math for these folks - easier just to say the 2 point conversion was part of the mystical script... Then you don't have to think, and you can just whine and complain...

STOP MAKING SENSE, Dogbite...LMAO...it's bad for your reputation!!!! Go along to get along...just agree and nod your head and save yourself the wasted energy. These guys could light their houses with the energy they're using on the "scripted NFL" scenarios. Their electric companies would be rrrrrrrrrrreally pissed if these guys ever figured out how to hook up electrodes!!!
Cheers, DB...like I told ThrowingDarts last week...you can't use reason and logic...it doesn't compute.
Cheers bud

Pro Wrestling was staged since the 1800s and that was kept secret for 200 years lol. Its not a sport. Its entertainment. There is nothing to come clean about if they know they are paid performers on a stage. Besides nobody would believe them anyway if its just words. Organized crime has already come out and said they fixed hundreds of NFL games. Players have spoken out about it. But nobody gives a shit. Because they cant see proof. Its some loon saying it. If its on TV its scripted to some degree. And Pro Sports are especially scripted because its not a real competition. If it was and everyone wanted to win, there isnt a kid in college that would elect to go to the Jaguars and claim to make them winners. They already know its only to get paid. The players dont give a fuck about winning. They are already on contracts.

Taxpayer $$$ to subsidize some of the new stadiums, and muni and state bond packages to build 'em...and even have the states pay (like in the case of the Vegas Raiders) when the owners couldn't meet the bond interest payments. Yeah...no whistleblowers...crickets...oh rrrrrrrright...the whistleblowers are getting weekly envelopes, too...and luxury boxes.

Forget about all that. Lets look at it like this. We handicap a game and predict which team covers the number. We bet Team A for a number of reasons and during the game the officiating is throwing dirty laundry against Team B for whatever reason. In the last few minutes of the game the officials make the worst call in the history of the game and we win our bet. If it wasnt for that blundering call we lose.
Are you going to tell me you capped it perfectly? That you won without any funny shit going on? Because I have been on plenty of winning bets where I know it was rigged. There was no other explanation why I should have won. I have been watching the NFL since I was a kid. Ive seen it all. Some things defy logic in this game and its outside influencing. You call it the Football Gods, I call it rigged/fixed/manipulated. It doesnt matter but I believe these games are strictly for entertainment and nothing more.
Ill give you one example out of many. Years ago when Manning was with Denver, they were playing KC in a PT game, Sep 17th 2015. There wasnt much time left on the clock in the 4th but KC had the ball tied 24-24. Kc was covering all game. Me and my brother had money on Denver. +3. He calls me up because I told him to pound Denver and hes bitching that we are going to lose the bet. I told him just wait for it. KC is about to turn the ball over. Sure enough Jammal Charles fumbles and Denver wins 31-24. I guess that was ljust coincidence but we were on the right side. There are many instances where the officials made horrible calls that led to us winning a bet. I guess thats just the way the ball bounces and I got lucky. I dont believe that at all. Too many coincidences to chalk this up as getting lucky. Im doing pretty good betting this year believing that the games are fixed. So i bet same as anyone else. For entertainment.
Good luck on your plays going forward.

WTF would the state be privy to game fixing?
You're too ignorant to discuss this.

@DB51daBEARS Yes, conspircay theories spawn ever more conspiracy theories. It's like infinite ignorance.
Yea you're right. Ignorance Lmao!! The game is blatantly fixed and you bury your head in the sand. If you watched these games for years and bet on them knowing the point spread and the total, and seen the stupid shit that has to happen for one side or the other, and still believe it's real, you're ignoring it or you're retarded. No other reason.
I made a point one day to watch a prop bet on a RB to get o/u certain amount of yards. Guy is averaging over 4 yards a carry. Suddenly they quit running him. The under hit when this guy is unstoppable. You can make excuses after excuses but Vegas determines alot of the games. That and whigh team makes the most money.
Jaguars can't fill seats, can't sell merchandise, no tickets, but yet you believe any given Sunday Jags can win? They'll never win a SB because it's not profitable for the NFL. Besides the owner is making a shit ton of money for his team losing. He don't care.
Open your eyes my man and good luck to you

Am I the only one who actually comes up with a line and look at Vegas live line a say if it is 3 to 5 then I get a positive return if off by over 6 something I have no idea maybe a foot. Too easy 1 or 2 is a no bet . their no value. 3 to 5 hold value over 6 again have to pass because I have no idea how the line was made

SaintsFan1977: WTF would the state be privy to game fixing? You're too ignorant to discuss this.
LOL saints fan...I'm too ignorant???
The state's not PRIVY to the FIXING...(no expletives deleted here; not necessary)...just your question alone reveals your mental condition.
The states and the municipalities, and the Feds, help subsidize the building of new stadiums to keep the teams where they've been...and it costs them a lot - no, actually costs the TAXpayers a lot because we subsidize the coliseums thru muni bond issues and corporate bond issues that investors get regular INTEREST payments on.
The State and the FEDS have auditors, financial forensic consultants, financial advisors, federal and state agencies, and so much more that oversee the expenses, the payments, and the contracts to build these monumental edifices to help the NFL owners continue their business operations. Do you think some schmucks are gonna pay off some underlings in the NFL offices to script/throw games??? And Roger Goddell is gonna sign off on the federal-felonious acts that enable these fixers????
Are you THAT brain dead??? Silly question...you've already answered what most of us are thinking. Must be nice to live in undisturbed bliss.
All the best

What does anything you posted have to do with fixing the games? You're turning a blind eye to everything.
No point in discussing anything further with you because you refuse to open your mind. It's OK. I understand.
Good luck this week. I hope you kill your book. This discussion isn't about whether you're better than me at capping games. It's not a competition between us. If you feel the games are straight up and you're killing your book, I definitely don't want to get in the way of your success. Keep doing what you're doing.

@Degenerate Saw this in another thread which perfectly explains why going for two there is the right call. If you still think it’s rigged you should stop gambling immediately. Quote Originally Posted by Mitchieboi: @newmarket It makes sense to go for two there. If you estimate extra point make percentage at 100% and 2-point conversion make percentage at 50%.
Your another moron.. I bet you can't show me another 2 games in the last 20 years when a team down 8 went for a 2 point convert in any part of a game yet alone the 4th quarter.. kicker injured or not..

Who remembered that primetime game Steelers and Chargers when Polomalu picked up a fumble and scored at the end of the game but they didn't count it.. he wasn't touched nothing.. it obviously made the Chargers cover..
I didn't bet on that game and it was all over sports media..
Also you all need to watch the video when Godell admits they fix games so they can get more revenue from viewers.. who wants to watch Jacksonville play the Eagles in Superbowl..

Don'tcha love it Vince...LMAO...Mr. Flip landed on his head a few too many times I'm guessing.
Comparing some low life bookie in Boston who gets a kid to shave some points on a meaningless basketball game in the AZ to the multi-BILLION NFL with 32 franchises and world-wide reach and thousands of employees and private contractors. And no-bod-dee is gonna squeal on this scheme????
Beam me up, Scottie...actually no...beam up ol' Mr. Flip...but be careful he doesn't hit his head any more.
Can't make the chit up that these dolts wanna believe.

You have tunnel vision. Your mask is covering your eyes when you watch games. Pull it down so you can see.
