Hey LC,
Pats fan here and I totally agreed with everything you said. Thought the Jets would make this a game with the Pats depleted D. One reason why I don’t bet on my home teams. My heart interferes with my wallet. Anyways, I will always respect your info. You have proved many times that your analysis is well thought out. Pats are an extremely hard team to read this year. Good luck on the rest of the season

Ya, much easier that way, lol. Last year I often mentioned how bad I was doing. Today I did mention very early in games that I was on KC, and GB. I don't usually start threads with my picks as I usually text them in late and know one ever comments when I do anyway.

I'm usually the opposite EW...post pregame winners and disappear once the game cashes...old man syndrome starting to kick in at 46 oh dear
Keep it between us, but the NBA has been good to me so far...it's not hard when you get the overnight scripts delivered with the morning glass milk bottles to my doorstep

Bad teams find ways to lose games good teams find ways to win games JETS QB out of game and Mike white comes in cold
BUT Bellicheck always punishes teams running up the score HE will pay for that next week vs tougher opponent or after
no way would i leave my starting QB in after scoring 40 points i go second string offense and use some second string defense to just stop jets from scoring
54 - 13 omg
NO pride in JETS team

There was nothing inherently wrong with the write up; everything noted was a valid point. The Jets should have been prepared A) coming off of a bye and B) already having faced NE earlier in the season. Laying a TD on the road in a divisional game is in these circumstances is sound logic (among other things of course).
I think LC will go back and look at the notes and adjust as required. It's one loss, big deal.
From my POV, a lesson I keep coming back to is laying money on 'bad' teams. The reasoning may look good on paper but the variables one cannot factor in when capping a 'bad' team are unfortunate or dumb mistakes. Things like dropped passes, poor decision making, even to the coaches in bizarre play calling all are reasons why bad teams just make matters worse for themselves.
A small pat on my back this weekend but I was very tempted to take WFT and the +8.5; a lot of reasons came up to make the play. In the end, I laid off the game because WFT is not in a good place right now for the reasons I noted above. Are they a bad team? Maybe, maybe not but I can't trust them to make the right plays in the moment. NY Jets definitely fall into this category and until proven otherwise are difficult to cap.
My two cents...

WOW didn't see this thread....i mean you guys could have followed me who posted the Patriots . point isn't that i'm better or worse the point is it's YOUR choice if you follow someone and if they lose you should be prepared b/c everyone loses at some juncture. I personally couldn't see how the Jets would compete but I also thought that Carolina would beat the Giants so...just shows we're all human

Tailed LC for 2.5 units on this one. Only got myself to blame for betting on such a garbage team. Sometimes, a team can suck so bad that even under the best circumstances/situations, they still can’t win/cover.

No one is giving patriots credit, its just how bad the jets are. Patriots usually start slow,. LC failed to take that into consideration think this game is where Pats start a playoff run. regardless of this bad miss LC on forums, he was very insightful.
