NJ..wouldn't this be a 16.5 2h for Minn?..My thinking on this was up 10 at HT (13 with points)..and +6.5 for 2H, so 10 and 6.5=16.5?  My thought is probably wrong on this.  I wont ask you to gett into it, just check out my comment I left ya..please..

My book has NO-4 O/U 23.5

 

System play should be Minny, Correct?

I like MInny myself as it has gone to +7 for me also....even though not a system play...I'm gonna stepout just to have some action....

System play is only when there is a 10 pt middle fellas. Whether it is Minny +4 or 6 or 7 it doesn't matter. According to the system it is a no go. All of us sick degenrates are just begging for a system play here!! lmao

You only add the spreads together if the spreads are opposite teams....for example if Minny was susposed to -3 and No is -10 then it is 13.....if Saints should be -13 and they are -6.5 you have to subtract the numbers, thus only 6.5 ....

 

as far as the comment goes I can't find it....wher did you send it? how do i view it?

That is why the Greek has set this line at 4.5 right? Seriously they are begging people to please take N ORL so we can save something on our asses tonight. GL though man, I decided to stay away 2nd half.

I've been paying attention to a similar 2H system, but paying more attention to when original favorites are down at half and to even come back to win the game (which is what they care about, not helping us cover).  So to even come back they'd have to cover 7, but the Favorite usually covers so I'd take NO.  my book was at -7 but we'll see GL everyone

vegasinsider and click on scores for NFL and below each game click line movement and they list 2H fav/dog but no totals.....

I am going to have to dispute this betting system. I have the same system but I go against NJ Porky's logic.
 
Hypothetical Example:
USC -26 UCLA
Halftime score is 0-0
2H line is USC -10 UCLA
In theory, you know have USC for the game at -10 which is like buying 16 points on the spread for free. I call this a 16 point discount.
Now think of it this way.....You think to yourself, "If I would have woke up and seen the line at -10 instead of -26, I would have pounded it"
Since the line makers are mostly correct, the discount method makes complete sense.
 
You can do the same thing for over/unders.
USC/UCLA o/u 50.
halftime score 0-0
2h o/u is 24.
You now have the o/u for the game at 26 (discount of 24 points), which you would have pounded if that was the line when you woke up.
 
Let me know how you all feel about this.
Used this method for nfl this weekend/mnf and won tenn, ind, sd, and no saints (the only 4 2h bets i placed) also hit 75% of ncaa

REALLY 75% in NCAA? Well considering I did every NCAA game with a middle of 10 points or more including both sides and totals and went 18-12 and you would be betting the oposite....how could you possible go 75%?
 
You also say you used this system to win on INDY,SD,TENN, and NO.
 
Question:
Tenn game was 3-3 at the half and TENN was -1 for the game so how does playing TENN make them a play according to your system????
 
Same thing in the colts game....they were -3 for the game and -3.5 2H and they were down 17-10 at the half. So that is only a 9.6 point difference between the line befor the game and at the half......
 
Look you may have done great with your 2H bets this weekend and I congratulate you on that, but there is no way you used a set system to make your plays because there is no rhyme or reason why you take a team in the 2H. I guarantee for every gane you give me in college that you played this weekend and you say you hit 75% on I can give you another game with the same difference in the spread that you would have lost.....

Well Giants were -7 for the game, up 27 -6 at the half, pk for 2H...wouldn't you have pounded Seahawks + 21 instead of the +7 it was befor the game? Afterall "the linesmakers are mostly correct"?
 
What about the Chiefs? The Panthers were -9.5 for the game, up 21-0 at the half, Panthers were -4.5 2H. Wouldn't you pound the Chiefs at +25.5, since "the linesmakers are mostly correct"????
 
And lastly, what about the Lions? The Bears were -3.5 for the game, up 17-0 at the half, and -1/2 for the second half. Wouldn't you pound the Lions at +17.5 instead of the +3.5 they were befor the game since the "linesmakers are mostly correct"?

well don't include tenna nd ind on the theory bc i just loved those games to begin with and wasn't able to put them in. but sd and saints prove my method.
 
sd -7 for game
losing 17-3 at half
sd -6 for 2h
new adjusted game spread is sd +8 (as if i purchased 15 points for the game for free)
final score was 17-10 miami. sd covers the new +8 line.
 
saints -3 for game
losing 20-10 at half
2h line saints -6
new adjusted spread for game is saints +4 (a "discount" of 7 points)
Final score min 30-27 over saints. saints cover the new +8 line.
 
Im not saying your system doesn't work but I am saying mine is more logical. You lose points for the game with your system. In your system, you would take the vikings 2h last night with an adjusted game line at vikings -4. now that makes no sense when you could have gotten them for the game at +3.

Maybe you haven't read this thread I did take the Vikings last night 2nd Half, +7 and pushed and if Reggie Bush didn't have 2 punt returns I would have won because the saints couldn't score on the vikings defense. But that wasn't a system play, i only make a play if the middle is 10points or more....I took the Vikings cause I liked them and it was my own pick.
 
Your system is more logical???? Yes the last 2 weeks it has worked well in the nfl, BUT Why wouldn't you also take the Chiefs +25.5 , Lions +17.5, and Seahawks +17 this past Sunday in your system? Aren't the extra points just as important as the lesser points you have to lay with the favorites? They would have all lost.....
 
How about these plays according to your system:
 
Week #1:
Bengals were -2 for the game
At the half Ravens up 10-3
Real 2H line Bengals -3
 
Shouldn't you now love the Bengals +4 for the game instead of -2?
LOSER! 2H SCORE 7-7
 
Week #1
Patriots were -16 for the game
At the half Patriots up 7-3
Real 2H line Patriots -6
 
Should't you love the pats -10 instead of -16?
LOSER! 2H SCORE PATRIOTS 10-3
 
Week #1
Lions were -3.5 for the game
At the half Falcons up 21-14
Real 2H line Lions -3
 
Shouldn't you love the Lions +4 instead of -3.5?
LOSER! 2H SCORE FALCONS 13-7
 
Week #1
Chargers were -9 for the game
At the half Panthers up 9-7
Real 2H line Chargers -5.5
 
Shouldn't you love the Chargers -3.5 instead of the -9?
LOSER! 2H SCORE 17-17

Colts were -10.5 for the game
At the half Bears up 15-6
Real 2H line Colts -8
 
Shouldn't you love the Colts +1 instead of -10.5?

u gave 6 games out of the first 5 weeks and 5 of those games were week 1 when the lines are pretty much based on the ability of the team from the prior season. none of those games would have anywhere near the same line in week 6.
 
is there a site you use that told you that the middle does not hit 75% of the time??
 
let me ask you this....and all others reading.... if USC was -10 for the game and the 2h line made it where all USC had to do to cover the 2h was win the game(pickem), would you rather take USC at pickem for the game (buying 10 points for free) or take the dog at pickem (forfieting 10 points)?

I gave you six games from the first 3 weeks that all failed from your system.....why don't you give me the game you find that work with your system for the first three weeks???? It is easy to see my results and all the games I lost in my system and say you had the other side.....I agreed you system was 5-0 the last two weeks, but it was 0-6 the first 3 weeks, thus 5-6 according to what I have found.

And you still don't answer the 3questions...does it only apply to the favorites?

Wouldn't you want the Seahawks this past Sunday +21 instead of the +7 they were befor the game?

Your whole premenition on the system is that oddsmakers are rarely wrong, so more times than not the game is going to land near the line that was put out befor the game starts. BUT IF THAT IS THE CASE, HOW DO YOU LIKE BUYING EXTRA POINTS FOR FREE ON FAVORITES BUT NOT BUYING FREE POINTS ON UNDERDOGS? Shouldn't an underdog getting extra points for free be just as attractive as a favorite laying less points? EXPLAIN THAT....

Using your hypothetical scenerio:

let's say USC was -10 for the game and was up 42-0 at the half and now the 2H was pk.....

would you rather take USC at -42 for the game (forfeiting 42 points for free) or take the dog at pickem (buying 10 points for free)?

 

You are bringing up a best case scenerio for your system...in other word only win a favorite is losing or tied at halftime, you take that favorite again in the 2H giving less points than they were befor the game started.....Now when you go back and look at that system for the NFL this season it is 5-6. A LOSING SYSTEM.....

 

My system has documented numbers and games backing it up....you brought up 2 plays from this weekend, SD and NO that worked and mind you NO only worked cause you got them at -6 I got Minny at -7 2H and pushed.....give me a list of every NFL game starting with week 1 where the favorite was losing or tied at the half and laying less points in the 2H than they were for the game and I guarantee it has a losing record!
