Duderonomy; I think you're right on the money BOL
@Kadejax
Completely incorrect.
It’s obviously not 50/50 if a team is favored, that would be a PK. Favorites at 3+ would have a probability chance of winning at 60%.

I was against SF last week, because from what I saw in the regular season, I don't really think they should be heavy favorites against good teams. I don't really plan on betting this game, but I think the spread is too high. Gut feeling is that the lines would be more accurate on both games if the numbers were switched... Ravens (-7), SF (-3.5)
That said... still don't have any intention of betting it.

I bet on them getting 3.5 points... at no point did I ever say they would "handle Baltimore." Second, Howard was hurt on the first drive of the game... I was not able to factor that into my wager on that game, because I don't have a crystal ball. Most of all, that is not the same as the Ravens being without Hamilton, because Miami has zero depth at CB, behind Ramsey and Howard... the Ravens have excellent depth at the position.
Most importantly of all... what the fuck does any of that have to do with this game?
You covers idiots always obsess about receipts... this is not social media for me... I couldn't give a fuck! If you don't like the pick... bet against it and move on!

Have finished my more detailed breakdown of this game, and also the Lions / 49ers game. Might add a wager on the Lions ML, but it's more of an insurance policy bet, in preparation for what I plan to do for the Super Bowl. Would say there is value on the Lions ML at that price, but not extraordinary value.
The deeper dive into the numbers for Ravens / Chiefs has been quite illuminating!

We don't need to move on... YOU need to move on! You are the problem with this site... never making your own picks and tailing other people who do, then stalking them for weeks because you don't know how to manage your own money.
I bet 1-unit on Miami, not knowing that Holland wouldn't play, or that Howard would get hurt 3 plays into the game... but you interpreted my 1-unit play as a LOCK OF THE YEAR, and now a month later you are still complaining about your vaginal hemorrhaging.
Either load up on the Chiefs, or shut the fuck up!

It actually gets better after going into the more detailed breakdown... but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that.

did you even read what said??? I said 50-50 of winning by more than a FG.

@Duderonomy sick meltdown!
i had the ravens in that miami game for 3K (how’s that for money management) and i’m all over the ravens in this game. i was simply questioning your sudden unmitigated support of the ravens after (as recently as week 17) you wholeheartedly backed your weakling finesse homer dolphins against them, even after witnessing them tear apart the 9ers.
BOL to us on the ravens — hopefully we cruise to a double digit victory as you’ve prognosticated.

Bump.
Bump.
Thanks, asshat!
Well that was the most Low IQ performance in NFL history... can honestly say the Ravens don't deserve to be in the Super Bowl... everyone should be fired and cut!
Couldn't imagine a less interesting Super Bowl matchup... I'll pass on betting or watching.

Up until a month ago or so, I was saying Lamar couldn't lead that team to a championship, but watching what they accomplished against the best of their competition (which you thoroughly covered in prior posts) it seemed they'd just overrun any opponent and not have to rely on their QB in clutch moments. This guy is not capable of that. He's the ultimate front runner. I cashed out of all my Ravens plays and recouped about 5% of my wagers halfway through the 3rd quarter. That's not something I've ever done but in this case it was apparent the only way they'd come back would be on a clutch performance by Lamar. He's not capable of that, and he's pretty much a reflection of that team, as is often the case with top tier QBs (like the recent Patriots teams were a reflection of TB). That scat Flowers pulled after making a big catch was another indicator the moment was too big for them. You're getting your ass kicked, down 2 TDs, give the ref the ball and get the fk back in the huddle! clueless... The other thing I forgot is that more and more over the past few years with the NFL you have to expect the unexpected. Usually it's the officials that turn things upside down, this time it was the league's most dominant team not showing up...

Yes, that is what happened.....Interesting historical fact that was overlooked for this game.....the #1 DVOA team since the last league expansion 20+ years ago has FAILED to win the Super Bowl every year EXCEPT, twice with Tom Brady led teams and once with that LOB led Seahawks team that dismantled Peyton and the Broncos. I thought maybe this Ravens team could mirror the LOB Seahawks team in breaking this trend. I was wrong...
