3* EAGLES -7 over Rams - Philly dominated the earlier matchup, 37-20, as Saquon Barkley ran wild. He probably won't rush for 255 again, but he's gonna get his yards. Both of the these teams have had playoff success, each winning a Super Bowl recently. This game all boils down to the boys up front, and the Eagles probably have the best offensive line-defensive line combo in the league. And I expect Jalen Hurts to shake off the rust of last week, which was his first game since December 22nd. The Rams defense has played well lately, holding four straight opponents to less than ten points (not counting the meaningless finale vs Seattle), but they haven't exactly played a murderers row of opponents (a crippled 49ers team, the Jets, the Cardinals and a demoralized Vikings team). And offensively they've only averaged 16 points a game during that stretch and are now facing the best defense in the league. Plus the weather is gonna be cold and crappy with a rain and snow mix. It's worth noting that Matthew Stafford is 1-8 SU in those kind of conditions. I liked this game better at -6 or 6' but Philly is the play here. 27-13, EAGLES!

Buffalo hasn't been a home dog since 2020, but comes into this matchup as a one point pup after opening as a favorite. I actually think the oddsmakers had it right the first time. According to my numbers the Bills should be favored by a point and a half. Home dogs have been a money maker in the playoffs, cashing ten of the last 12 tries, and the Bills are a perfect 9-0 SU at home this year, so why wouldn't you like them in this spot? That's to take nothing away from the Ravens. On a neutral field they probably grade out as possibly the best team in the NFL, and they routed the Bills, 35-10, in Baltimore in Week Four. But the Bills were missing three defensive starters on that beatdown, all of which are healthy for this game. In addition, the Bills added WR Amari Cooper in October as another weapon for Josh Allen. Ultimately, this game boils down to which QB you trust more in the playoffs, Allen or the Ravens Lamar Jackson. And for me the answer is Josh Allen playing before the home folks in subfreezing temps. 26-17, BILLS!
