I don't know about KC... I hate to bet a team simply because of a trend, but that 0-10 is pretty big.
 
And I REALLY want to play TB but NO scares me and I could see them run away with it too... probably a no play but I want to!

my avatar is awesome...the triple post was a mistake and I apologize...as for bragging...sometimes being a pompous asshole is the only way to get recognized...I figure if the sportslady throws shitty picks on the forum and 100 people respond then I should just throw out raw stats...she picked 48% last year...I couldn't do that poorly if I made the picks on acid.

Super stud WTF! I was going to say that I like your thoughts on the NE/KC game. If there is a team that is pissed off it will be NE and i do verily beleive they destroy. But to bring your punk ass in here with 9 posts and rave how f'n good you are. Put up some picks and come talking after you get some W's behind your belt you f'n person.
 
 Sorry sportsladyd. Fuckin chumps pulling shit like that pisses me off. I do however agree better teams to go against than NE tomorrow. In my mind that is just asking for trouble. Good luck to you this season and look forward to seeing you around.

KC +16.5...or more come game time...yes here we have another team...a public favorite giving way too many points...the point spread is inflated too high...and remember NE lost last year's Super Bowl...NE may win but they ain't gonna cover...Super Bowl losers from the previous year are 0-10 ATS in week #1 of the following year...over the last 10 years...this is a trend I choose not to ignore.


People are sleeping on this young Chiefs D...a lot of young 1st and 2nd round talent. The Chiefs will take the field with a completely revamped defensive line that is loaded with talent. Glenn Dorsey, Tamba Hali, Tank Tyler, and Turk McBride, who lead NFL preseason with 3.0 sacks in very limited playing time. They will hit Brady every chance they get. Ty Law is gone, replaced by physical second round pick Brandon Flowers. Gunther Cunningham has said that they will use man to man early and often and bring maximum pressure at the line. KC has seen Moss before, they know they have to jam him and get in his face.

Of course, I don't mean to suggest they have a chance of winning. They will give up the odd big play. The final score will not be very close, but it will be close enough.

I predict 28-13 in a smashmouth game. +16.5 or more at gametime or lay off completely.
