Not really thrilled about either game...

But I have:

1. Denver +3.5 (got this early) for 2 units

2. Cards +3 for 3 units

Honestly - at 3 I would cut my denver bet in half, and at 2.5 it isnt even a bet. So take it for what it is worth.

I will like the NFC in the Superbowl for sure.

I think so.

If NE wins, and looks good doing it, the public will have them at -3 against either of the NFC teams (I think). Right now you can get +1.

If Denver beats NE, their memories are short and I think their victory over Denver probably puts them at least at PK against the NFC.

I guess the reason to bet the NFC now would be Carolina vs Denver, but I still don't think Carolina is too much of a fav.

All speculation - but I am not taking NFC +1 yet.

To clarify that a little bit....

The key number is 3. Any point movements under 3 are not as important as crossing the 3 threshold.

The only way I see the SB line getting to 3 or going past it is if NE wins their game convincingly. Otherwise, I am fairly safe passing on the +1 now. If I have to lay -1, I am willing to risk that in order to gamble on the upside of getting 3+.

Best of Luck! Agree, 3 is a huge number in any game this weekend so going to wait on line moves as I have a feeling public is wrong with line moves... If Pats go to 2.5, take them, if Broncos go to 3.5, take them, etc

i agree on both but didn't get 3.5 with denver so i'll probably lay off that one. might lay off both.

betdsi does this promotion where they give you a free $50 bet on the super bowl about half way through the season. i took the NFC at even so i'll probably just stick with that. i'd feel the best about an AZ/Denver matchup.
