Ravens @ Pats

I think the line is based on public perceptions from last weekend. Ravens offense looked bad. Pats looked unstoppable. But look inside each of the match ups. Denver was awful and in a very bad spot. Their offense was terrible and D got sliced up. The Ravens played against a top tier defense and pulled out a TD win. They easily could have won by 10 or 14 (2 shots from the 1 yard line). The bottom line is that this NE defense has major holes and I think Baltimore will be able to score and keep this game very competitive. I am siding with the better defense here and + 7.5 feels like the right side to be on.

Amazing how its a tough call and the spread is 7......I mean it all comes down to what Ravens team is going to show up, the Ravens that lost to the Jaguars, Seahawks and Chargers or the Ravens that beat the Steelers twice....I hate to mention this also, because they are a good team with hall of fame veterans, but their schedule was weak. They didn't have to play any really good offenses all year. I like Flacco, I like lil Ray Ray, Ray Lewis is uncomparable, but we're talking about the cheesy Pats and Brady here....Gronkowski is like Shaq, no one can stop him.....like I said.....real tough call here.

You college kids don't get it.  Frankly, if you aren't from Boston area, you have blinders on to what is the reality of the Pats current state.  You look at the inflated defensive yards stats and the 'word of mouth' that Pats D = bad.  You haven't been paying close enough attention.  

Forget the game versus Denver.  Forget the game versus Baltimore 2 years ago.  Even forget the game last year where Pats beat Balty.

Brady is a man on a mission.  Uncanny weapons that nobody can stop.  Only way Pats can get beat is if Brady has "happy feet", which doesn't happen often.  Been a long time since I've seen Brady like this.  He has something to prove, and tired of the nonsense.  Brady has a chip on his shoulder and can't lose.

The Pats D is finally in a positive state.  They've figured it out, and made the right changes in their secondary.  The stats show that over recent weeks.  I bet they outperform Balty's D tmrw, mostly cause of the QB on Balt vs. Pats.

If you want to put your $ on Flacco, go ahead.  If you don't want to put $ on Pats 31st ranked D, fine.  ALWAYS, go with the hot team in the playoffs, and nobody is hotter that Pats.  10th in a row tmrw!

One other thing for the college kids.  Vegas is smarter than you are.  Period.  They put out a -7.5 line for a reason.  Just adding that half point, made me laugh, as clearly Vegas is begging for the Balty action, and you fell for it.  

I could be wrong, but let's see how this goes down.  Confident in Pats winning Superbowl.

2 things, 1st the Giants and the Steelers stopped your boyfriend Brady this year..  and the dolphins, bills were up big on your boytoy and it took a late rally to come back to win..Heck even the skins had a shot to beat the Pats.

2nd. Listen to yourself, the NFL wont allow the pats to lose.?

They lost last year at home, and the year before that at home -they. have only won one playoff game since their super bowl loss to the Giants and that was against a team that backed into the post-season who btw beat a team that beat your unbeatable team

So in your opinion, unless the person is from Boston area, there's no way anyone could fairly evaluate the Pats. Of course, there can't possibly be any homers at all, too.

bee, i want to thank you for a years worth of great reading material! i have been around for a good while now a ndseldom say anything, i enjoy your insight, and always consider it before making my decisions. however, i think you are dead wrong about the ravens this time! i just do not believe they ( and i am a fan of theirs ) can win with flacco at qb! the pats defense has greatly improved almost weekly, and last week shut down a very good running football team who won a bunch of games in the nfl and couldn't throw a lick! i think the pats make enough plays to force the pass and they do not protect well and even if they do, flacco is at best average! as a former qb, i am a brady fan and think they will put enough points up to cover. i am on the giants at plus 3.5,as i took them early and bought the half.going to take the pats but am waiting for movement down from 7.if it stays there, i will take the pats and buy the half. bol to you!!

Ravens ML, Baltimore tears the Pats a new ass-hole today, they are the softest #1 seed in NFL history, their two signature win are against Denver.

Didn't the Pats just beat a team with a winning record?  Denver was 8-8 in the regular season and then beat Pitts making them 9-8 when NE obliterated them.
