This forum is out of control that being said.... fading the packers will destroy your account
With you 100% bet the better team more times than not. Tonight I had steelers +3. I was and am happy with my bet. Steelers were the better team tonight and the difference between a win and a push was Josh Scobee. Sorry we couldn't take the win tonight but pretty much right on point with my prediction outside of Forsett running freely 8 yards a pop. Two bad 4th down calls in OT and a missed throw by Vick, on top of two missed field goals. Bad beats tonight but a push is always better than a loss. Well take it to the weekend.

So I am looking at the lines again for this weekend. I want to post where my mind is at right now without looking at the picks I made earlier in this thread. I will compare once I get the picks and if any questions I will try to explain why I swapped or stayed the same.
Atlanta Falcons -6.5
Carolina Panthers -3
New York Giants +5
Chicago Bears ML
Washington Redskins ML
Kansas City Chiefs +4
Green Bay Packers -8.5
Denver Broncos -7
Seattle Seahawks -9.5
Fire away with questions. I am going to look back now...this is how I make my picks usually guys. I research, watch some film, and hope that some of you make some money off my picks on Sunday. My final picks will be in on Sunday morning but am more than happy to answer questions.

Can you explain why you think the Bears will win with Jay Cutler most likely won't play, no Alshon Jeffery, traded Jared Allen and Jonathan Bostic?
Yes I can. Appreciate the question. I know this looks like a slam dunk for the raiders but looking at this spread made me take a second look at the Bears. The Bears offense has been performing in favorable match ups. When they played the packers, in the first half they got Forte going and controlled the clock. The packers offense wound up being way to much for the Bears defense to handle as expected though. Still a closer game than anyone thought it would be. Cutler may play, Alshon also may play. Regardless though, the raiders defense has not been solid. If you disagree than that is one thing, but in my opinion they are super susceptible to the underneath pass, and they do not tackle well at all. Derrick Carr looks great, latavius Murray looks good and Amari cooper looks good also. If this game turns out to be a shootout I give it 51/49 in favor of the Bears tho. It is not easy going to soldier field and out gunning the Bears no matter how shitty they might look. I look for this to be a fairly high scoring game with the Bears edging out the raiders in the fourth quarter 31-28 Bears.

I just made a bet with two friends that the Rams beat the Cardinals tomorrow. Take it for what it is, don't know if I am gonna back it up on my site because I have quite a bit of money on the Rams with them. But I am telling you right now....Rams over the Cards tomorrow.

Good luck Packerscjg! Been on this site for years as a lurker, lost my login creds for original account. Just started coming back into this section to review posts and write ups on games. I like your insight and appreciate your breakdowns. I'm tailing you on most of these picks along with a few others on totals that I like. Keep up the great work!!

I am avoiding this game. I'm not a fan of betting two teams where things just Haven't gone right. With romo and Dez out the Cowboys have relied on randle to carry the load while splitting with McFadden and hitting Dunbar out of the backfield. The saints get Drew Brees back but the Cowboys defense hasn't looked horrible and the saints offense has looked horrible. If I was going to bet a team here I would take Cowboys ML and that is only because I watched the buccaneers totally dominate the saints in New Orleans, but for me I will be avoiding this game because I can see too many possible outcomes. Good luck if you do bet on this game tonight though.

For tonight's game we have the Seahawks at home vs the Lions.
If you have been following me I think you can probably already guess which way I am headed here. Like I said in an earlier post I don't always love betting big home favorites unless they are one of those teams I love (Patriots, Packers, Seahawks)
With that being said I can see the Lions hanging in there but I am pretty confident the Seahawks are going to ROMP the lions. The lions have ZERO weapons that the Seahawks should be afraid of. Megatron is not the same as he was in years past. Golden Tate should not have any success against the Seahawk secondary. Matt Stafford has been getting DEMOLISHED by mediocre front lines because the Lions offensive line is incapable of blocking. We have turnovers on the way with the Seahawks benefiting from all of them. The 13th man will be in attendance and loud as ever.
Whether the Lions somehow Miraculously cover or not, the only way I would ever bet this game would be the Seahawks -9.5 and predicting a 27-6 point victory for the Seahawks with the Lions scoring on some fluke play or broken coverage and then missing the extra point.
BOL All!
