@vanzack
Sweet! Both you and Invest4profits on the same page with the Bungles makes me confident in this one.
The second guessing of the OP in this thread is repugnant, though I do wish I possessed the same 20/20 vision of that of the Hindsight Gang. They have a way of making it all make sense, lol.

@MrBator
Agreed. However there will always be a certain amount of haters with anyone does something successful. Van very popular for good reason. His insight matters to many.
Also unfortunately there will always be people lurking to watch other fails and rub it in. Easy to focus on others rather than themselves!

The 0-4 early games for Tony and others now that I have some time....
Rams were never really in it. I thought they would be able to run and the defense would stop the Pack. I also had Rypien rated better than an average rookie QB. Just a bad read, and a deserved loss.
The Saints had several chances to cover. They doinked a FG, had the last drive that could have ended well - I think I saw on the broadcast they had 28 plays in Bears territory in the second half alone. This was a rough non-cover, but as Tony points out I rarely lay 9 but I'm not mad about this one.
The Texans. Jeesh. Not sure what to say about that one.
Patriots also had chances - but I am not sure Bellichek is worthy of the big stage anymore. He makes constant tactical errors, and is a pretty bad game manager. They had an offside on a punt with about 3 minutes left that just about killed them from having a chance. Mac Jones clearly wont be in the NFL for long.
I knew there would be chatter here after going 0-4, but if you are riding with me you know that 0-4 is a blip. 4-0 is a blip. Sure - I get mad at 0-4, and excited over 4-0, but that is gone almost instantly. "You lost your mojo" - what exactly is mojo and if you believe 0-4 is losing it then nobody should gamble because everyone is going to have an 0-4 (0-10) run sometime. Whoever mentioned earlier in the comments that if 0-4 is going to make you go ballistic you arent using MM is exactly right.
Then I got a lot of luck back with the Eagles, and some good fortune with the Bengals.
All in all - a terrible start with a great finish and down a few pennies. Thats the ride of being a sports gambler. I am still surprised after a day like yesterday to come on here and find the roller coaster of posts.
Anyways.... On to Monday.

Traffic happens . The server will be over to take your order soon . The rain will subside and the sun will show it’s face again . The lady with the big cankles who backed up her motorized cart into you at Costco will not be there the next time . God willing . And by the end of the season vanzack will pull a hefty profit . Nobody has any patience . They all wanna get stressed out and turn into patients . You’re all making yourselves sick over trivialities . Get ready to put another tube with the slow drip in punks cuz you didn’t like this post either . It’s good to have dreams but you also have to deal with the reality of the nightmare that we live , and make it less grotesque like Axl and Slash sang about way back in the day when I had my high top fade . I’ll never fade you though vanzack . You’ve literally EARNED my trust . God Bless you . And have an excellent day sir .

I saw that you had a rough afternoon yesterday. I also noticed some were piling on you. I said to myself, "Vanzack will bounce back with his SNF play."
You posted that you were on the Bengals, and that's all I needed. I took the Bengals and the UNDER.
Thank you, Van. I look forward to your MNF play.

Down vig times four is more than a few pennies, it's approaching half a unit. Vig annoys me. lol
The other thing about sports betting is that you can call a game exactly right and get burned by something, or call a game completely wrong and catch a huge break that gives you the win. Which is why I don't call myself, or anybody else, a genius when good things happen, nor call myself, nor anyone else, an idiot when bad things happen.

Yup it was a crappy day for a lot of ppl. Of course I went 0-4 with ya and bet the golden knights. I was most pissed about the golden knights bc we had a 2-0 lead into the third period and the ducks scored 4 unanswered goals and I pounded the knights both moneyline and puckline. I thought the bills spread was tricky and I was honestly gonna bet the bills so I woulda lost even more. Can’t complain because I finally got to cash out a couple times but I’m wondering who you like tonight. How can anyone bet the chargers tonight?

Couple of things....
I basically pay zero vig. I understand most do - but there are ways to greatly reduce with less effort than most people put in to picking winners.
When the random things happen that you describe that decide an outcome - I have already made a mistake. I concentrate on trying to avoid games that have a high probability of landing within a certain amount of points of the spread - usually 1 score. So the Eagles, Saints, Texans... They are not mistakes or successes because I got the winner or loser - they are all games I consider wrongly bet because of their closeness to the spread.
Just because something that is random decides outcomes in a certain set - doesnt mean that you cant try to isolate the other non-random events in that set. That is a large part of what I try to do - and have been successful doing.
