While I like NO, I could only manage enthusiasm for a one-unit wager.  KC and Mahomes have proven that they can manage without a star player.  Rashee Rice has been practically deified on the sports talk shows, and I believe in the "Injuries are Bullshxt" theory.  Of course one cannot query for injuries at Killer Sports or Gimme the Dog, so I am unable to validate my theory which could be the result of confirmation bias.

The two major power raters vastly disagree on this game, and I guess it's because of their differing opinions on NO since they both have KC ranked #1.  Jeff Sagarin has KC -6.65 and Ken Massey has KC -2.92.

Let's see what happens.

Not sure what you mean by "Ave per pass margin" The Chiefs Yards Per Pass Attempt YPPA - Off/Def is 7.5/6.8 for a .7 margin.

Sagarin ratings are always heavily weighted with previous season results.  I agree the Chiefs don't look to be the best team in the NFL right now.  That being said, the Chiefs are one of only 2 undefeated teams, and are back to back SB Champs.

N.O. bettors like me suffered a half-point ATS loss.  Damn, those rankle.

Saints big disappointment, they couldn't  do much on offense at all even when they pulled to 16-14 KC was completely out-playing them.

I don't know what you're looking at but the Chiefs Off/Def Yards Per Pass Attempt (YPPA) before Monday's game was 7.5/6.8. That is from multiple sources including Pro Football Reference. Maybe you looked NY/A?

The Chiefs YPPA Off/Def is now 7.7/6.5.

I thought NO lost 30-36.  It turns out there was a glitch in the Sports Database that showed every road team losing 30-36 (the actual score of TB-ATL).
