Giants had to fight for their lives of to get into the playoff for the last 4 games. Niners was already relaxed which they were in already. Will they lose to Cardinals and played a tight game with Rams if situation was different? The numbers are not superficial as they showed

Lets be honest, las vegas served up a platter hype on sunday, giving the niners points at home, they wanted action and america ate it up buffet style. I mean lets take a look, the saints beat the falcons, panthers and lions AT HOME in their previous three match ups. the niners plus rest & points was a no brainer. manning is on fire, in his last three games hes completing 70%, averaging 315+yards and is 9-1 TD-INT with a passer rating of 126.8. Eli picked apart green bay in the most hostile environment in the NFC in below zero weather. When you knock off the defending champs in their own damn house, then travel to sunny california with 3 points and a superbowl on their resume. its a no brainer. NY+

No brainer that Vegas is in money making business. Thus, the lines are set accordingly. If you were in such business (or in any business) who would you cater to; a population of 8+ million or a population of under 1 million? Of course, you will cater to the larger population. That is what is going on here IMO.
NO was HOT coming in to SF. Now, Ny is HOT as the beat GB. The money is pouring in on NYG and this could become a pick'em game come game time.
Vegas is serving you another platter hype (NY convinceingly beat WORLD CHAMPION at their house by 17) by luring 8+ million people to take the NYG as underdog.

Both teams have a GREAT pass rush.. I'll take big blue's though.. Giants with a way better QB. Giants with a way better passing attack *Knicks/Cruz/Ballard/Manningham* are all unstoppable. RUN defense goes to niners. Giants WON'T be rattled on the road. Comes down to the 4th quarter.. I said a few weeks ago there is NO ONE better than ELI. Giants ML big for me

Some good points but Eli being better than Aaron Rodgers sound more like a homer comment as majority would disagree with you. A few weeks ago I saw Eli play a pretty horrible game, at home vs Washington.
While no one is unstoppable, as Niners did stop the Knicks/Curz/Ballard/andeveryoneelseonthegiants in their regular season game, your permise appears to be "the team with better QB" always win. Which is not correct as NYG with a lesser QB beat the team with a better QB.

[/Quote]One thing about the 49ers that impressed me last week that worries me as a Giants bettor - there were numerous times when SF rushed 3 and it looked like Brees had ALL DAY.
But he just kept waiting, as if everyone was blanketed. Happened several times. Watching TV where they focus on the pocket until the pass is thrown, it's impossible to know what's going on w/ the coverage. But it did seem like SF was covering well. Did anyone else notice this?

Good observation. They essentially gave Brees a new defensive look at every snap. At times Brees had 6+ seconds but could not find anyone open and dumped the ball to Sproles (15 catches) or threw it out-of-bounds. I doubt that Eli will see a same defensive look during this game.

Eli is making the best decisions of his career. If Eli has all day it's over for the 9ers. Remember they got Cruz out there to catch the bombs. They're great at stopping the run but they're not nearly as good agains the pass.

Making best decsions of his career; he threw 16 int's in regular season; most among the top ten rated QB's in the league. Only River and Newton threw more int's. Here is the link.

Also, Eli is better on the Road (arguably) taking only 12 total sacks on the road. If the O-line can contain Matthews I don't see why they can't contain Smith... although Willis is a damn monster. I'm a bills fan and knowing that WHITNER will be shadowing Knicks and Cruz makes me VERY happy. He is a straight bum lol

Matthews has RUN responsibility first, then TE's before rushing the passer.
Whitner has been a blessing. I'm not sure why it did not work out with Bills but I'm happy he is a Niner.
