Defense wins championship....remember 2010 SF Giants? Who the hell will pick him to win the World Series? This another SF team will follow the same path to win it all....
everyone could look at the game in different perspective. Call people an ass clown apparently is telling people just need to ignore your opinion. Who is a clown at the end? Denfense wins championship can apply to all the team sports including soccer, basketball. This is a fact no one can deny historically.

Niners to the super bowl
Any doubters? don't just run your mouth but come with a valid point and let's discuss it.
Rested team? They will have had one more day of rest, let's not call this a factor.
Giants haven't had trouble playing away...what do they have 4 consecutive road playoff victories?
How can you say better coaching? Is there a stat that proves this? Tom Coughlin has a Superbowl ring on is finger, Harbaugh is the flavor of the month.
Enough offense? What exactly does that mean? If I was arguing for the Giants, I would use explosive offense, or consistent offense, or dangerous offense....NOT ENOUGH OFFENSE.
Seems to me you are reaching a little bit. I will say the Niners run defense is the best I have ever seen. But plays can be made against their secondary. Eli is so locked in with all three of his receivers, I have no doubt the Giants will make enough plays. The Niners won't be able to do much against a much improved and confident Giants defense. If the refs don't make that ridiculous non-fumble call or the phantom roughing the passer on Rodgers, GB doesn't score a TD and finish with 6 points. The game before that, they shutout the Atlanta Offense. Both of these teams are head and shoulders above the Niners on offense. Not to mention, the Niners just let up 30+ points on their home field.
So let's relax a little bit. You tell people to explain why yet the reasons you give for your pick are amateur at best.
Take the Giants and the points, bye the hook. And take them Moneyline, best of luck

If you have been following whatsoever for the last month or so, you can throw those stats out. The Giants D was in disarray for most of the season, but have gotten healthy and on the same page these last 6 weeks and are probably the most dangerous defense in the NFL right now. Keep talking about their porous pass defense, it's inconsequential right now...look at the last 6 performances by the Giants defense and get back to me with your statistics..

I'll save you the time, Alex Smith DOES NOT have more fourth quarter comebacks or red zone efficiency than Eli.

Yea taking the home team all the time is a great strategy. Get a clue dude.

Appreciate your contribution Zoopdog,

<<< Two days by my account (Sunday game for gmen + a travel day to SF) but I was also accounting for SF being home since 1/1 (20+ days). Gmen essentially had last month at home before traveling to GB. Which did help them.>>>
Giants haven't had trouble playing away...what do they have 4 consecutive road playoff victories?
<<< Let's not call that a factor either as three of those wins were in 2007; five years ago.>>>
How can you say better coaching? Is there a stat that proves this? Tom Coughlin has a Superbowl ring on is finger, Harbaugh is the flavor of the month.
<<< Okay, too small sample size to declare Harbaugh as an elite NFL coach. We (Niner fans) have endured HORRIBLE head coaching for the last decade. It is simply refreshing to see what Harbaugh has done so far>>>
Enough offense? What exactly does that mean? If I was arguing for the Giants, I would use explosive offense, or consistent offense, or dangerous offense....NOT ENOUGH OFFENSE.
<<<Enough offense means scoring more points than the opposition. I cannot use the adjectives like explosive, consistent or dangerous for this Niner's offense yet>>>

<<< Similarly, I have no doubts that Niners will make enough plays (in all three phases combined) to pull out a win. Both teams have improved since their earlier matchup. Gaints were full of confidence after defeating the Patriots when they came to SF. NYG essentially led in every category, especially, 9+ minutes of advantage in Time of Possession. Yet they lost by 7. ATL is HISTORICALLY poor outdoors and GB played pathatic. If SF plays as poorly than the Giants will roll but I doubt that Niners will squander this opportunity. Yeap, Niners did give up 32 points to NO but SCORED 36. What is more embarassing, giving up 32 points to Drew Brees and still winning the game, or giving up 23 points at home to Rex Grossman and losing a critical game?>>>

Lets be honest, las vegas served up a platter hype on sunday, giving the niners points at home, they wanted action and america ate it up buffet style. I mean lets take a look, the saints beat the falcons, panthers and lions AT HOME in their previous three match ups. the niners plus rest & points was a no brainer. manning is on fire, in his last three games hes completing 70%, averaging 315+yards and is 9-1 TD-INT with a passer rating of 126.8. Eli picked apart green bay in the most hostile environment in the NFC in below zero weather. When you knock off the defending champs in their own damn house, then travel to sunny california with 3 points and a superbowl on their resume. its a no brainer. NY+

No brainer that Vegas is in money making business. Thus, the lines are set accordingly. If you were in such business (or in any business) who would you cater to; a population of 8+ million or a population of under 1 million? Of course, you will cater to the larger population. That is what is going on here IMO.
NO was HOT coming in to SF.= Now, Ny is HOT as the beat GB. The money is pouring in on NYG and this could become a pick'em game come game time.
Vegas is serving you another platter hype (NY convinceingly beat WORLD CHAMPION at their house by 17) by luring 8+ million people to take the NYG as underdog.

I'm pretty sure the lines are set at what the public thinks but also at what the computers spit out. To say SF is an easy pick because Vegas is tarping people is absolutely hilarious. This game is a coinflip with a small edge going to the GIANTS. Therefore the money line or pts is a good EV pick I believe.
<<<Public perception plays a big role in setting up lines. That has been stated by various sports books. Vegas certainly can mine all of the available data in any which way. I was simply responding that good business would be to consider perception of 8+ million people. It does not say the SF is an easy pick. This game will be a hard fought game where I think SF has the edge.>>>
SF got an easy redzone turnover plus 4 other gifts. I mean 5 turnovers in a game?? Seriously? That is a fucking lot. If Alex Smith misses that pass at the end of the game, we go to OT and Saints might win (with the TOs). Niners = Overrated. The dogs got lucky at home.
<<< If Dallas does not implode, Gmen dont even make the playoffs; if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle....IMO, there was nothing easy/lucky about SF win over NO. It was a hard fought game, in doubt, until the end. Niners outplayed the Saints in all three phases. Taking that away from them is simply not being objective.>>>

Alex Smith just had the game of his life - I don't like the odds of him playing that well in consecutive weeks.
The Giants Defense is NOT the Saints defense. Yes, SF scored 36 points, but they will be lucky if they score half that many this Sunday.
With the way the Giants have been playing on all three phases, I don't know how you can take the Niners with any confidence.
