Really? Name 3 people by name who asked you. You're full of shit. In fact, most on this site have repeatedly asked you to stop. You just can't. ***EXTRA HUGE PLAY OF THE CENTURY***
How is a $1,000 HUGE.....a $5,000 HUGE.....a $7,000 HUGE. You're a guy who has nothing in real life. I'm pretty sure about that.
Now come back with your little emotiocon telling me how much I amuse you and how I have no life but to critiicize you. Its all part of the PTB fantasy world playbook.

Thanks for looking this up. There might be something to this trend. The ultimate question is whether the Giants will have an emotional letdown after beating 15-1 Green Bay, defending champ, on the road. Perhaps. But it's a veteran team w/ plenty of experience.
That being said, when you look @ this trend itself, there's way too many examples of just losing to a better team. Take 92-93 for instance. The defending champ Redskins were the #6 seed. SF was the #1 seed. Dallas was the #2 seed. I don't think SF got overconfident, emotionally spent, etc, etc, disposing of the #6 seed defending champs so they overlooked the #2 Cowboys. SF just lost to a better team. Period.
In many of these examples, the team that beats the team beating the defending champ, ultimately wins the Super Bowl. That just means they were the best team that season.
Either way, it's a useful data point to consider, so thanks for looking this up.

One more example - look @ 2007-08 San Diego. Sure, they beat Indy, but then they lost to NE. NE was 16-0 that season. SD was a 14.5 pt dog. That SD team lost Tomlinson, their MVP, too. Even then, they still covered, losing 21-12.
Again, just an example of losing to a better team.

He included it in the 2-16 SU record, the same as he did the 1994 Niners.

Those bold words stand out not just a trend, they reflect performance on matchups as well. Good luck, bud!
