That is all
that is the prime example of how refs can control the game...but the magnitude of Rams destiny to win at home is over shadowed by idiotic fans...there’s a reason it’s a trillion dollar business

They have to manufacture suspense and drama somehow. Nobody wants to watch a blowout. If they don’t throw that flag on that last rams drive, then the refs would have been on the hook for that non-OPI call. They were not gonna let the bengals win period

Biggest play of the game was the non-call on Bengals receiver for grabbing the facemask of his defender handing the Bengals a free TD they did not deserve.
So they gave one back to the Rams that was taken away from them.
It was the right thing to do.
What's fair is fair, give one, take one.

You don’t “make up” for a missed facemask/OPI ten seconds into the second quarter by letting the game play out for 43 more minutes and then “make up” for it by determining the outcome of the game.
vomit inducing.

Why not ?
They let the game play-out to see how it went. Rams played well enough to win had the refs not gifted the Bengals that TD.
The Rams certainly could have won without any help so why help them untill they needed it ??
Bengals still could of stopped them, they did not gift-wrap the Rams TD like they did the Bengals.
Bengals had plenty of opportunities to stop the Rams before getting down that close.

Was a brutal game deciding call..the offensive PI ..while obviously missed and was big at the time...but it was 12.secs into the 2nd half..for all we know Burrow could have thrown another bomb to Chase or Higgins on the next play..it didn't decide the outcome..giving the Rams a new set of downs inside the 5 with little over a minute left...on a play that was extremely well defended..in a game with almost no penalties..including tons of missed holding calls..both ways...did decide the outcome

@Jason316
Not a bengals fan. Just a fan of goofing on the shame the NFL has become. Doubt I have a post that mentions the bengals in the years I’ve posted here.

@tikitom
I dont like the Bengals at all but imo that call was terrible. The Bengals had plenty of chances before that to win so its not an excuse but the call was garbage.
