people had a gut feeling that the rams would cover too.

you might wanna have a look @ the recent trends in depth section. not only that, the raw rookie is gonna make his first nfl start against the pack? bol 2 ya anyway.

Odd that sportsbook.com doesn't have this game listed. The betting numbers (420 and 421) are skipped over.

remember Bret's first year in MN.  Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay got swept in that series.  I do not think they have forgotten.  They made the play offs and got eliminated by AZ and NO went on to win the SB.  Last year was an injury plagued year and they still won it all.  At Philly and Atl. and Chi.  Minny might cover, but I don't think so.  Like saying the Gophers have a chance against Nebraska on Saturday.  I don't think so.  But last year I remember Vikes beating Philly at Philly with J. Webb at qb as 14 point dogs! so NFL, strange things do happen, thus the cries of conspiracy, etc.

my book up the line at ---packer -8 -105 vs. vikings +8 -105--- last night...

now today packers value at -9 +110 with vikings  +9 -120..
after losing last night.i think vikings should be at plus value..

so when public is pounding the packers at +110...and packers being undefeated and all...that doesnt make sense to me...it should be the opposite NO?

vegas god are in the mix..something fishy is coming on..
idk im new to the betting world...so i still have alot to learn..

thoughts welcome...

my opinon cant see vikings beating packers or even competing with the packers they are too hot right now and 3rd in the nfl stoppin the run.. rookie qb against a quick pass rush def.. espect the packers to cover this week

I see AP getting a lot of touches in this game to take pressure off of Ponder. Packers will know this and stack the box. If Clay Mattews gets a hold of Ponder

If people keep saying this week after week, eventually they will be right once

Only reason they didnt cover against Carolina was a garbage TD against prevent in the last seconds...should be 5-0....

Might get lucky for another backdoor, but to think Viks have any chance to stay with double-digits of the Pack is

I am a massive Minnesota Vikings fan and a homer.  I managed to grab GB at -7 and consider it to be an absolute lock.  

This isn't the old Packers team of the Favre era that used to fold under the pressure of an away game in a dome.  This Packers team plays even better inside with their unstoppable aerial assault.  

The only things going for the Vikings on defense is their pass rush with Allen/Robison/Williams and their ability to stop the run.  Rodgers is great at eluding defensive linemen and will neutralize the pass rush.  Vikings are prone to getting destroyed through the air (watch the second half of Vikes/Lions and watch Stafford throw for 350 in one half).  Doesn't matter if Vikes stop the run the Packers stop the run themselves by never doing it.  

If the Pack can put the pressure on early this is going to be an absolute rout.  Only chance the Vikes have on offense of getting anything together is to have AP get 25 carries.  We have a hard time of getting this to happen when we are leading a game, good luck when we are down by two scores early.  Christian Ponder is not going to be doing anything that McNabb can't do which is not a good thing for the Vikes' offense.  Pack is going to have a great time stacking 8-9 in the box and crushing AP while laughing at Ponder's noodle arm.  

If anyone follows the Vikes/Packer rivalry they'll know that the games at the Metrodome are usually 50/50 in fan breakdown, thereby neutralizing homefield advantage.  It's going to be worse this year. Packer fans are going to control the place in terms of numbers and Vikes fans will be booing their own team per usual so kiss homefield goodbye.

Every sentence I type ushers in more tears to vacate my eyes but I enjoy making money in this sports betting thing and can see no bigger play this week in the NFL.  This will be a long weekend with Nebraska coming into town as well to face my beloved Lophers.

The only reason GB won't cover is because they don't want to.  I would throw this in a teaser with another game you love.
