So you point out 1 game, the Carolina game where Brady played well while completely dismissing many, many games where Brady played poorly and counted on his defense and kicker to bail him out.
Your right and prove my point. A big part was Because of Brady producing historic offenses and because the team was built around Brady and the offense was handed to him it was Brady who crashed and burned in the postseason.
When the offense was not built around Brady when he was ask to do less is when the Pats had their best, most dominating postseason team.
The Pats offense was one of if not the very worst of any SB winner in the 16 game shcedule era, it's pretty clear they did not win SB'S because of their offense.
The 2003 Pats defense put-up a stat rarely ever seen in history, they held opponents to 35 field goals att to 21 TD'S.
You can look long and hard and you won't find many teams in history would produced a ratio of TD's give- up to holding opponets to FG atts, when the Pats defense played impressive is when the Pats won SB's.
When Brady and his offense played impressive with Moss they failed, just a fact, in fact they failed so miserably, they scored just 17 points in the SB, a point total so low that no team in the 35 years of the 16 game shcedule has won the SB with such a low point total except the Giants who held another historic Brady scoring offense to 14 pts.
Of coarse Brady is a great player, that's not the debate.
The debate is, it was the defense and kicker that won those 3 SB more than it was Brady, when your defense scores as many TD's in your teams SB win as your offense and your defense holds your opponent to a point total so low that no team has won a SB with such a low point total then you really must be confused if you think it was not the defense that won that SB, and the evidence shows it to be true................................
