I keep seeing people post “Rams will win but won’t cover Rams ML -205” If people think Rams won’t cover that -4.5 then why not bet the Bengals +4.5 at -110? Lots of terrible gamblers here. Win or lose that Rams ML is a horrible bet.

I bet if Rams win by 3 points those same Rams ML -205 guys will come here and say “see I told you so” but they could of just bet Bengals +4.5 instead and not risk an additional -95.

Basically, the Rams ML vs the Rams spread has an implied probability of about 15%.

Meaning - the Rams chances of winning by exactly 1, 2, 3, or 4 is about 15%

People who are betting the Rams ML are paying to eliminate that 15%.

When you go from 52.5% to 67.5%, that is actually the correct price.

Seems high at first glance, but the numbers support it.

Not saying it is a good or a bad bet today - just saying the price is in line with the implied odds.  Now.....  that is with zero handicapping and assuming the line is exactly correct.
