I might add that the reason many do not state their reasons for a bet is because they have no reasons. They bet on hunches or feelings.
Posts without any reasonings are useless to me...I don't care if it was posted by Jesus Christ...I could mention recent picks by 'legends in their own mind' that were real stinkers but won't. We all have feet of clay.
The only time I made exceptions to that was when the top consensus picks of the top contestants in the Westgate Contest started to hit...
Earlier in the year I asked a poster for a reason for his pick and he answered that the team was better...now I know to avoid all of his picks.

No one owes you an explanation. I’ve never seen a entitled group of cry babies in my life.

Personally, i spend a hell of a lot of my spare time capping, in between the time i spend with my family and the time i spend at our family business and what little sleep i get (I do not sleep well at all, havent for some 20 years) ... That doesnt leave a lot of time to continually do write ups ... Sometimes i will do a small quick write up if it is "something out of the ordinary that i have found" ...
My capping involves all the standard things ... Players v Players ... Coaches v Coaches ... Teams v Teams ... Playing on natural grass or playing on artificial turf ... Playing in the heat ... Playing in the rain ... Previous results / trends ... If a team is on a roll ... If a team is on a losing stretch ... Playing at home ... Playing away ... Etc ... Etc ...
To add to that, and 1 of the MOST IMPORTANT parts of my capping i might add, is something i call "capped by my eye" ...
There is nothing more important than "watching a team" "watching a player" "watching a coach" and having the ability to see "future improvement" or "champion qualities" while you watch ...
BUT at the end of the day, sometimes, you can cap till the cows come home ... "IF" the correct calls are not being made by the coaching staff ... "IF" the quarterback is throwing like a Donk, or having a bad day ... "IF" the runs and or catches are not being made by the players ... "IF" the guys wearing zebra stripes are calling things wrong ... No matter if you spent 3 weeks capping that particular game, you will lose, simple as that !!!
So, all in all, i guess what i am trying to say is, a capper can do all of the above, posting write ups and be hitting at 52% ... AND someone could be flipping a coin and be hitting at 75% ...
To be honest with you, at the end of the day, you should be doing your own capping and coming in here for cross checking and referencing ...
Being challenged in life is inevitable ... Being defeated in life is optional ...

Entitled nah...just trying to understand thought processes for picks. I don't expect that you would understand that as affirmative action must have saved your life from complete misery. Of course I have my doubts about that too...
