Dallas on the road is another team. Yeah they played like crap at HOME last week which is nothing new. 4-4 at home this year and past years aren't much better. They have always been able to win on the road and lose at home with this year being the BOSS going 8-0 on the road. WHO DOES THAT? Noone else really. It's usually the other way around. DALLAS TO THE SUPERBOWL. Something happens to them when they are away from home. They never stop fighting!!!
DALLAS TO THE MUTH PHUKIN BANK THIS WEEK. Oh and AR is hobbling which helps

Another thing about Dallas is that THIS YEAR they have been breaking all of the trends that have always been against them. November this or December that. They crushed all negative trends and that's whybi think this year they get it done on the road. Romo is 0 for the century on the road in playoffs, but after this week it will be 1 for the century LOL.

I will admit that +11 is a lot, but Arizona gave them that game with that QB of theirs. Two picks in the end zone (I think), one on the 1yard line and then a fumble on their own 5yard line. Carolina won because they played a team with zero passing attack. Not saying Seattle covers the 11, but they will have their hands full. Cinn at full health wins that game imo. Indy D is OK and O is one dementional. Den D will have to have a terrble game to not cover. Indy is over rated. Det got the jump on Dal. If not for the UNUSUALLY hot start Dal would have covered np. Pack a different animal on O for Dal but GB D is yikes I admit, Pack cover barely. If not, they will win. Cold weather will be hard on BOTH teams. I FUK ING HATE NEW ENGLAND. CHEERS BUDDY!

I think this is the week Indys lack of a running game kills them. Had Cincy had Green and Gresham, I truly believe they woulda won that game....
amd
Dalton sucks in the playoffs and Marvin Lewis proved, once again, that his game planning is awful and they have zero success at halftime adjustments. I don't think Green nor Gresham would have saved this team. They had Hill, one of the Top 3 backs in the 2nd half of the season, on the field for like 21 snaps. A couple injuries is no excuse for stupidity.

27-13 Seattle. Seattle will remind everyone that Carolina entered the playoffs with a losing record. Newton throws 2 picks, Jonathan Stewart comes back to earth, Sherman shuts down Benjamin, Wilson runs for 70 with a TD run, Lynch adds two more TD's, and Tolbert continues to get fatter...

The Panthers didn't look great by any means last week & they got A LOT of favorable calls. But to say the Cardinals should've won is insane. The Panthers outgained them by like 350 yards. With that said, Cam Newton is just awful. Having all those defensive studs out for the Cardinals all year caught up to them. They allowed 100+ on the ground their last 6 games.
11.5 is a lot of points for a playoff game that is usually low-scoring and close. But I don't see how Carolina gets on the board much here. Newton is dreadful, Sherman will likely lockdown Benjamin (their only WR), & Seattle's D is playing the best they've played all year. Seattle has the better coach, the better QB, the huge home field advantage, & more experience. It could easily be 27-10. I teased Seattle to -1.5 & I think that's pretty safe.
This Baltimore/Pats matchup has been so tough on me for years. I've been on the wrong side every single time of it. When the Ravens beat them SU two years ago & it stayed under 41, it cost me 10,000 dollars. Brady just couldn't get any points from the Red Zone. The Patriots are known to play rusty off the bye. But I think New England is so good this year I think they'll cover. Baltimore's secondary isn't as good as it's been. Pats have Gronk this year. I think Brady shreds them. Everybody is on the Ravens here & I'm saying "not so fast." I know Flacco's played well in the playoffs but Revis & Browner should lock down their WRs. Wilfork should help plug up the run game. Ravens always struggle in the first quarter so I think Pats minus anything 1st Q is a great bet. I teased the OVER 37.5. I could see Pats winning 38-23. Belicheck & the Pats certainly remember what happened two years ago. No Ray Lewis or Ray Rice this year. Or Anquan Boldin. Gronk is back and healthy. Wilfork back. Revis. This is the best Pats team in years.
Not sure what to think about Colts/Broncos game. Peyton is certainly on the decline so I think they'll rely a lot on CJ Anderson. The Broncos will still be a lot more balanced than the Bengals last week. Luck is capable of making mistakes if they get pressure on him. If the Colts had Ahmad Bradshaw I think they might have a great chance of winning. The emergence of Moncrief will help the Colts a lot. He's the X-factor. I'd have to lean on the Colts covering. Vonte Davis is the most underrated CB in the league & will contain D-Thomas. I could see like 30-24 here.
The Cowboys defense got kinda exposed last week. I think Rodgers will torch them. Green Bay's O-line is much better than Detroit's and they're at home. Plus, GB is more balanced than they've ever been. I don't see Dallas stopping them. But without BJ Raji, I think Dallas' O-line will have the major advantage up front. Murray will have a great game. I just don't think Romo has it in him to win two playoff games in a row & I think he'll play average at best. I think Packers win 41-27.
I got Over 37.5 Baltimore, Seattle -1.5, & Over 43 in Packers game. --- 880/800. Been killing these playoff 3 team, 10 point teasers looking to keep it up.
Good luck this week.

Why is nobody mentioning the Panthers rushing attack ? Newton/Stewart have been the best rushing tandem in the league lately. Newton, Stewart, Williams, Whittaker, Tolbert and a much improved o-line that had the second-best pass-blocking efficiency rating in their L3 games in the regular season. They have been the best running team of all playoff teams late in the season and it's not even close. It's a dimension Seattle won't be able to defend for 60 minutes.

What are you guys/girls thinking about the freezing temperatures this weekend? Who will it affect most? I'm not sure myself, but I would think it would help G.B and Patriots a little more. My philosophy...it's going to suck for both teams, but then you're freezing and not playing in front of your home fans also. Has to be demoralizing!

Because none of those teams they've beaten in the past 5 games were capable of stopping the run. The Browns (32nd rush D), Tampa Bay (worst team in NFL, 19th rush D), Saints (29th), Atlanta (21st rush D & a terrible defense). Even the Cardinals who began the year w/ one of the best rush D's in the NFL gave up BUNCHES of rushing yards in their last 6 games. After being top 5 all year, they finished 18th.
Seahawks held Carolina to 114 rushing yards on 28 carries in the first matchup & that was in Carolina.
Pete Carrol knows Cam Newton can't beat him with his arm. Truthfully he needs to throw to Olsen a lot more because he catches literally everything thrown his way, but he doesn't.

With you on the Pats and Panthers, Belichick with a bye will be ready to expose any Ravens weakness, Brady will torch that secondary.
I love the Panthers D and I think the Panthers can run on the Seahawks and if Cam is smart he'll throw a lot more to Olsen, Seahawks struggle against TE's.

Hi AMD...enjoyed your comment on the "sucking hind tits" post ..that was a little over the top on my part...back to Carolina +11...I normally love getting points like this on a team that is seemingly trending at the right time....I think a real play is Panthers +5..1st half....after that back up the truck on the Hawks.....

The Colts, were not good on the road vs Playoff teams with a record of 0 and 3 losing by a lot all the games expect of course the Denver game were they lost by 7.. But Denver led 24-0 at one point and of course we all know the Colts got the backdoor cover..also Denver was great at Home going 8 and 0 winning by an average of 14 ppg... Should be nice weather in Denver Sunday and that works well for Mannings old arm..CJ Anderson has stepped up nice late in the season as well

Good Luck AMD. Love the picks. I think Carolina has legitimate chance for W with the way their D and running game is playing. Best LB crew in football right now. Cam just needs to protect the football and play the slow tempo control the clock offense they like to play.
I posted a thread on Pats and think they roll Baltimore.
Indy/Den and GB/Dal should be close games as well. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Dallas and Indy won outright.
Best of luck this week.

Don't lie. You want to say Seattle covers 11

AMD - if NE wins by more than a TD (I'm a Pats fan; tough to shake off the history we have with BAL but know we're maybe a more complete team than the last one that won a Super Bowl even limping into year-end), does that make you lean to the over?
The only spread cover with an over and NE scoring under 30 would be 28-20 (I have O/U at 47.5; obviously 28-21 is a push).
Any thoughts?
