Eagles winning was good outcome for the book as well as Saquon and Kelce going under their prop line and no TD scorer. The Under hitting would have been the perfect storm but the books didn't have their way with that. I'm predicting they'll take in a bit more money than last year's Super Bowl. Maybe the margin will barely hit 8 figures. They'll probably post the hold on Tuesday or wednesday

Same here. I've learned my lesson. I always copy it before I submit it. In case it didn't go through, I have it ready to paste and try again. I suggest you fellas do the same.

I thought the books need KC; both Sportsbook Spy (SS) and ESPN Bet Live had PHL taking the most action.
I checked SS just now. They show PHL had 56% of the cash and 58% of the tickets. Of course the books collected a ton of money on all of the Super Bowl futures wagers on the 31 other teams.
SS also shows this breakdown on the Over - 70% of the cash and 74% of the tickets.
It's nice to see the public have a winning Super Bowl, and most non-bettors prefer an exciting, high-scoring game. They were happy, too.

I don't trust these consensus sites. I was at the casino watching some of the action and it felt like 60% to 40 in favor of Chiefs judging by the crowd reaction. And also when I hear sportsbooks say we got liability on this team so we rooting for so and so team when they really mean the opposite lol.
Looks like Over bettors were happy as long as they didn't parlay it with the Chiefs

Betmgm reports one of the best single game results in history.
Saw that tweet. I'm a little bit skeptical coming from them but I guess that makes up for last year where they said they got destroyed. Nice comeback MGM

Super Bowl 2025 Betting Recap: 'Philly winning in a blowout is what we needed'--FoxSports
Interestingly, BetMGM scores big in in-game from huge KC ML bets which obviously failed in the end. Although Over the total hurts books, however Eagles' rout over Chiefs is what Strip needed.
We get some excellent reporting by Patrick Everson, a renowned sports betting expert in Las Vegas.

I expected that since KC has come from behind so frequently.

Wow, I knew it would be in the 8 figures but that's more than I expected. It's an all time record now. Imagine how much more if the game had stayed Under

I suspect so too , the last few Super Bowl's have been some of the least profitable due to the KC comebacks and the Overs hitting and some crazy longshot props hitting on the KC side . Mahomes losing was good for the books

"The Eagles, who closed as 1.5-point underdogs, beat the Chiefs 40-22 on Sunday. Betting on the game's outcome was relatively balanced between the Eagles and Chiefs, but sportsbooks cleaned up on player props, most notably Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley not scoring a touchdown."
KC coughed up an embarrassing 40 points, but their DEF was just good enough to help the Nevada sportsbooks.
