Powercore Picks NFL 2019

I would be leaning Pittsburgh -14,  this game feels similar to the primetime home game the Steelers played against the Bengals earlier this year.  The team and crowd will get pumped up at home, this defense is going to be pressuring Fitzpatrick all night long and I think the Phins turn it over a few times.  I expect Conner to have a huge game against these hapless Dolphins.  This is a must-have for the Steelers and I expect them to put this game away as soon as possible, and also the Dolphins a public dog which is a fade for MNF. I am passing though, I hate laying more than 10 on any NFL game as these coaches only care about winning and not about the margin.  The under also looks good as usual on a Monday Night as I really don't see how the Dolphins are going to be scoring much of anything and the Steelers will be running the ball a lot.

Yep no problem.  Unfortunately this another of the long line of dud matchups MNF has produced this year.  They need to either start flexing these games, do a better job before the season of projecting the best matchups of the week for MNF, or just do away with it altogether.  Because so far MNF has been a total joke, and Sunday Night Football is far superior in getting the matchups that people are interested in watching.  Thursday Night should be rotated to every team has 1 TNF game every season out of scheduling fairness.

If you combine point differentials, home field edge, and strength of schedule.  Niners are implied favorites of -15, so lots of value with the Niners whose defense has been suffocating at home.  Yes I realize Wilson is a strong MVP candidate this year, but the Seahawks are really overmatched here.  No way I can go against the Niner magic on Monday Night with 33-11 ATS since 1992.  I know it is an old trend, but I will continue to fade the public(especially public dogs) on MNF as time and time again the public gets screwed on the final game of the week.

Thanks for your post! I am not much for confidence levels and I flat bet the same amount each week depending on my bankroll.  I am a volume capper and make bets where I see value or an edge.

That being said. I like the Jets a lot in this spot. The raiders traveling to east coast and coming off win over bengals where they had a lot of trouble putting the worst team in the NFL away. All the raiders wins have been by 1 possession so they not blowing anyone away and 1-3 road record is not good. Also, they have a huge game against the chiefs next week so this could easily be a look ahead spot. Darnold has put together a few good games since the debacle against the Patriots and it looks like Bell is about has healthy as he has been in awhile. This is same jets team that did beat dallas at home.  Waiting for the +3.5 would be a good idea. More on the others in a little bit.

I like seahawks very much. They are in a horse race with the 49ers for the NFC west and have no time for letdowns. The bye week is huge for them to get healthier and gives Carroll more time to prepare for this matchup. Lockett is playing so that is a huge plus, and Wilson has close to unstoppable especially in the key moments with the game on the line. This seahawks offense has scored 27 or more points in all but 2 games and it will be difficult for the eagles to keep up with all the injuries they have sustained their skill position players. I know the eagles are in a desperate situation but a lot of times it doesn't translate to quality football.

Falcons I have high confidence in. It appears they have solved their defensive problems over the bye week shutting down brees and the saints and McCaffrey and the Panthers in 2 weeks after the bye. The bucs defense is the worst in the NFL in scoring and this falcons team has had no trouble moving the ball all year they just been inefficient at times until recently. I expect the falcons to shred this defense and get the lead and force Winston to throw a lot like has all season and turn it over. Also, for those of you that play daily fantasy this is the game to stack and load up.
