Analysis

Steelers -3

This team really looking to carry the momemtum into the regular season. Tomlin does good in Week 4 preseason 8-4 SU in such games.  The Steelers bringing some nasty defense and pass rush.  I like the backup units for the Steelers, and I think finish this preseason unbeaten

Vikings -2.5

Zimmer the king of preseason football coaching at 20-4 SU.  Kyle Sloter will be playing a good chuck of the preseason and he has been shredding the opposition backup units. So look for them to continue on this strong preseason.

Ravens -5.5

Harbargh another preseason champion 36-12 SU record in preseason and hasn't lose one since 2015. They going up against a Redskins struggling to generate much of anything offensively only averaging 14 points per game this preseason simply won't do against this Ravens defensive depth.

Browns -4

This is mostly a fade on Matt Patricia who has shown he could care less about preseason going 1-6. Lions suffered some injuries, and I think Patricia will play it safe here.  Browns another team that will be motivated to bounce back and get a win in the home preseason finale to help cultivate the winning culture there that they need to be successful.

Bucs +5

Another fade on Garrett he is 2-5 in Week 4 preseason action and 14-22 overall.  He could care less about this game as he has shown time and time again and just wants to get through this healthy. Bucs have good depth, and think Arians is starting to get the system in place.  Good spot for them to take 3 in a row and getting some momentum for the season. 

Dolphins +3.5

Payton has shown he could care less about this last preseason game with a 2-11 record in Week 4 preseason game.  Saints are pretty well set with what they are doing and I expect them to go vanilla and just get through this game without injury.  Rosen and Fitzpatrick still trying to prove things with the Dolphins and this is their last audition.

Packers -2

Reid another coach that doesn't get too pumped for this last game going 9-11 in Week 4 action in his career.  Chiefs another team set with what they are doing.  The Packers off 2 losses, will want to get this home win to help get this team on the right mentality. Boyle has been pretty sharp for the Packers and should play a lot of this game.

Pc, who do you like hou/no?

I have no play for either side, it will be a pass because both teams under the current head coach are typically slow starters.  I would lean the Saints at home though because I could this going very much like the Pats game last night and get the momentum going at home and just steamroll the opponent as they so often do on primetime at home.  Houston did not look at that crisp in the preseason they started 0-3 last year under O'Brien before they started to get things going.  Laying 6.5 to 7 is a lot especially very public home favorite on MNF.  So I will err on the side of caution and just pass.

Note- I locked in this Broncos +1 very early in the week. They now -3 at most books.  So obviously, I liked them a lot more as the dog, but there are still some trends that support them as road favorites.  I think both teams get up for a very emotional game, not having A. Brown really going to cost them offensively and his ordeal had to be a major distraction this week.  I the like the Denver defense to rule the game in the critical moments and Carr to have problems moving the ball.  Flacco getting a fresh start in the Denver and has some things to prove.  Denver knows these games are critical if they want to stay up their with the Chiefs and Chargers this season
