First off, fade the hell out of me, I suck at betting the NFL. 4-7 yesterday for a a total of 23-25-1 this year. I have had some success betting Monday Night and I believe that is because I actually analyze the game. I spend the whole week analyzing CFB and then get to the NFL worn out on Sunday and just go with my guy. Never again though. Tonight's line is intriguing to me. The Redskins can play some ball and Pittsburgh got exposed last week at home vs. the Giants. The Steelers struggled when Ben was blitzed and Gregg Williams knows how to send a blitz. Ben does not like to throw the ball away, and he is a big dude so he can escape some situations, but overall he ends up hurting his team when he takes needless sacks. The Steelers can put up points on a bad defense, but this year have struggled to put up points against good defenses. 14 against the Giants @ home, 6 on the road @ Philly, 23 against Baltimore but that was the defense scoring. That is the key, Pittsburgh takes advantage of turnovers, but Washington does not commit them. Campbell takes care of the ball better than any QB in the league. Portis has fumbled a few times this year, but hes still the leading rusher in the NFL by something like 200 yards. Advantage Redskins.
Now how will the Redskins score. I really think it will be a field goal fest. They will rely on turnovers, Ben likes to turn the ball over, and the field position battle. Santana Moss is questionable but you have to imagine hell play. He has been a beast all year and back to '06 form when he came up with big play after big play. I think Cooley should see some opportunities for big plays because of the success of their play action and the make of the offense. Lastly, lets not underestimate the fans at FedEx field. That stadium will be rocking with around 100,000 people and it never fails that a good defense at home in a night game looks even better than usual. With that being said.....
Washington-12 Pitt-6
No touchdowns score, 6 field goals is my prediction
Washington(-2)....large play Washington/Pitt Under 38....normal play

I'd like to make this a productive thread rather than me just posting my plays. Someone who is taking Pittsburgh tonight needs to argue their points and we can compare.

I'm here and on the Steelers.
Most of my cash will be on Steelers and Under teaser. I hate losing bets because one smallest guy on the field hits one more than the other pencil neck. This game should come down to a field goal and I don't like giving points in that situation. Willy Parker is back and should have an impact. Overmatched offenses against rarely let up defenses.
Redskins got beat by the Rams. If the Steelers play the Rams 15 times they win 16 of them.
Good luck Bib - We can both be winners here but I'm thinking of Steelers ML if it goes more than +120

D- I have a tough time bringing up that the Redskins lost to the Steelers, just doesnt seem to be relevant. If I comes down purely to field goal kicking I would have to give the edge to Reed too. Suisham just isnt as clutch. But if Suisham gets 5 tries and Reed only gets 2 then I dont see much of a problem. I look for London Fletcher to dominate tonights game

Vacation tomorrow Heading to Blacksburg for the Tuesday-Sunday and attending the VT-UMD game Thursday Night. If you guys havent been to a night game in Lane Stadium is a must do before you die. I've been to Ohio St, Michigan and Penn St. and the atmosphere for a VT night game is still tops. Cant wait!!

Redskins really don't have a very good pass rush, think they have like 10 sacks in 8 games or such. So I don't think it'll be a, pin your ears back D and Dry hump Ol Ben all night game. Both D's have some injuries
I do think pitt getting Willie Parker back will help out alot he is a very dynamic part to pitt's offense. On the other side of the ball I don't see Portis having a stellar night against Pitt's D.
With that said , Santana Moss is a crucial part to Washington's success tonight. In his top games this year he has been 30-60% of Jason Campbell's passing production.
Stats say it will be a low scoring 90% FG type game, BUT, it is a Monday night game in our Nations Capital on the eve before a possible history changing Presidential Election. So the air should be electric
Best of Luck whatever Side your on! Should be a exciting game either way. Go Obama!

Just trying to point out that while I think the Redskins are a very good team and can beat anyone in the league, they are fully capable of laying an egg. Steelers are pretty consistent. Rarely do you look back on their schedule and find a head scratcher. Disappointing loses yes but not wtf games. I didn't watch the Skins/Rams but I have trouble envisioning how they blew that one. Not so sure the Steelers pull this one off. Thats why I am teasin it over a TD to +8.
