go back and check out the stats when big ben has a good line and protection and you will find that he is very worthy of tearing apart a defense. he has by the way a few times....in important games as well. this year game # 1 vs the texans. granted were talking texans but if you want to really check you will find many games he made a huge impact on the progress of the offense he was running. indy....05 playoffs just awesome.....05 denver afc title game agian just awesome.....and many more if you want to look them up.he threw into 65 mph winds this year in cleveland and did his job still.

Ben is a good QB, most importantly he is a winner.  Only a few QBs in the league can throw the deep ball accurately and he is definitely one of them.  But I don't see him as a pick the defense apart guy.  I mean nobody compares him to the Mannings, despite his impressive win percentage, because he plays a different style.  He scraps for everything a defense will give him and generally understands his limitations.  When he is forced to try the pick a defense apart strategy is when I have seen him throw a high percentage of his INTs. 

Pick apart the defense is a QB who's jersey is as clean as when the game started.  Ben gets dirty.  I'm just saying its not his style, not a knock on him.

WAT??? You dont think Ben is capable of picking defenses apart??? LOL I expected that comment to be opposed especially when the steelers are 24th in passing yards. The reason I think this happens tonight is because thats the biggest mismatch in this game. Ward,Holmes, and Miller are going up against a very weak secondary(IMO), althought I'll admit Horton has looked great so far. Everyone thinks this is going to be a slugfest where Ben just hands the ball off every play.I think both teams stop the run tonight  and Tomlin turns to the passing game early looking to put up some pts and take the crowd out of the game. If this happens, washingtons inability to rush the passer will give Ben the time to make plays.

Just locked Pitt +3, 2 t par +3, over 36.5 (betjamaica)
 
Pitt coming off mistake prone game which they still could have won against best team in NFC, Giants. Regardless of location, they will bounce back, as most good teams do and play much better tonite, they're still a top level team.
 
Big factors tonite,
Return of Willie Parker, 'nuff said about that.
 
Pitt run "D" advantage over Portis.
 
PITT can pressure and sack QB (25 so far)
Wash only 10 sacks, could really use Jason Taylor, too bad
 
Campbell has been very efficient, 0 ints', but the 'Skins have 5 lost fumbles in last 3 (DET, CLE, ST. LOUIS), different "D' tonite.
Really believe you will see a Cambell pick or  2 tonite, multiple Skins TO's either way.
 
Santana Moss, hammy problems, forget it, if you've ever pulled your hamstring (I have), even tweaked it, and speed is required, you will not peform up to par, it's a very difficult injury to quickly overcome.
 
As for the over, I think we'll see some turnovers, which can inhibit points from being scored, but more often than not, will lead to points. Factor in everyone crying "under"(understandably so), so the over, especially @36.5, is my play.
 
In the end, this is like a midterm exam for Jason Campbell (remember those?)  In order for the Skins to win, he unquestionably must play the best he's played all year against the best ''D'' he's seen all year. He'll feel the pressure.
 
Lastly, another game in the "limelight" for the Steelers, is Jason Campbell, who by the way I like and thought he was a great draft pick out of Auburn for Wash, ready to take the next step now?
Not so sure about that...
