Refs caught red handed in Tampa/Atlanta

Clearly short, and tampa would have to kick a short field goal to go up 7 points. I don't shout fix fix, but that was very blatant. 

Brady would’ve sneaked it for 1. 

They called that a first?!  I changed the channel fully expecting it to be short after seeing it live and on replay.  Wow

Tampa was NOT kicking a FG..made no sense to lick a FG up 4 with 32 seconds on the Falcons 10 yard line....they were going for it no matter what and it did not matter if they got it or not..atlanta had no timeouts....

That might of been the most blatant ref controlling the outcome of a spread in a game that I've ever seen.Even the announcers are like I don't know what these refs are looking at.If anybody thinks referees don't know what the spreads are,and make calls to get the results they want,check out the end of this game.

That was a terrible call by the refs, it almost makes me think that the refs influence the outcomes of these games, but then I know that the NFL is as pure as the driven white snow...

First off terrible spot, he was clearly short.

Then they pull the chains and clearly an inch or so short.

Then they actually tilted the stick toward the ball?!?!

Then they even video review it, eh close enough..

The NFL is the reason why I will never bet DIMES again!!

I had +6.5 Falcons so im glad i was right side...

Not even sure if i want to bet ever again...it is nerve wrecking..

Why is this even a point?  Arians said in post game that they were not kicking a FG..So its meaning less....Unless u were hoping for a crazy Browns/Balty ending....

So you got no problem in any game going forward,if the refs just end a game when they want by giving a team a 1st down when there is no 1st down.How bout they just start giving teams TD's when there aint no TD.If it was a play in the endzone,and the team comes up a half yard short,and everybody can see he is short.You got no problem just giving them the TD?

How much time left at that point?  OK so if the did not give Tampa a favorable spot what would happen next?

Well you know the Refs had decided based on how Atlanta was playing that it was best to end this game now so this is a good thing, yes?

Nfl taking no chances having tommy boy or tb have their playoff odds possibly affected. The second half was sketchy. Goal= entertainment, ratings and revenues. All it is now. CFB too. Losing interest.

0 points in the first half and 31 in the 2nd half not obvious or anything and Brady is involved in it too. 

Dave it wasn't like this was a 30 point lead,it had a direct ending to any chance for the other team to win or not cover.I had no money on it,didn't give 2 sh*ts about the game.The only reason I was watching it was because the Bears game just ended,and this was bonus coverage.

U missing the point....They were NOT kicking a FG short or not short.....Bruce Arians came out and said it...You are sounding as if there was 6 minutes left in the game..

So now we can just end the game cause Dave thinks the last minute of the game is irrelevant,and nothings gonna happen.So from now on all a team has to do is get within a half yard of the 1st down,and the refs can give it to them.And all the coach has to do is say he wasn't gonna kick a FG anyway,and Dave is ok with it.How about we just make it they get 9 yards for a 1st,if the coach says he won't kick a field goal.

Call out what u want..but it did not affect the spread/outcome of the game..which is what a lot os posters in here think..Oh Tampa would have kicked the FG or the Falcons would have drove 90 yard in 30 seconds and not timeouts and score a TD.. the outcome was set..and the play did not affect it...
