Dave I really hope someone is paying you for those 21k post.
I notice you aint even trying to deny he was clearly a half yard short, and everybody saw it and knew it(including you).Let me guess your 1 of these "no game could possibly be manipulated"?Now you got a clear case of it,and your explanation is,"the coach says he wouldn't kick a FG anyway".How about we play the game by the rules,if the rule is 10 yards for a 1st down, then if he gets 9.5 yards,it ain't a 1st down. Why have challenges if they are gonna still stick to the wrong call.Tell me why the refs would go through
1.Trying to move the ball a half yard, after it had already been marked. Its on TV of the 1 ref moving the ball, after its already been marked.
2.They measure it and its still a inch short, and they still try and give them the 1st down.
3.The other team reviews it,everyone can clearly see,no part of the ball carrier's body or the ball, comes within a half yard of the 1st,and they still give it to them.
Why wouldn't they just play by the rules, and mark it where it was?Probably cause they just knew Arians wasn't gonna kick the FG anyway, right?
So your ok with this just cause its under a minute to go,or just because they were within a half yard of the 1st?

I guess they should of just announced after the review,"We realize it wasn't a 1st down, but we have checked with Dave and Coach Arians, and they say this last minute doesn't matter,so we're just gonna let Tampa take a knee".

I don’t understand why in the hell it would matter one bit what the coach said he was going to do after that play. The point is the NFL referees completely blew a spot, even with clear video evidence that they were short of a first down. I bet you’d be singing a different tune if it did impact the outcome of the game, but that’d be hypocritical.

Imagine how many times you wouldn't of gotten screwed in a game.If your team didn't get a clutch 1st down, but the refs determined the last minute of a 4 point game wasn't important. You even said it yourself,"what do you want a Clev-Balt ending",so you know anything can happen in the ending of a game. But your ok with them just ending this game, cause the coach says he wouldn't of kicked a FG anyways.Your sounding kinda foolish.

..Change my tune....Tampa was not kicking the FG NO matter what...short or not short...Arians said post game he was NOT kicking a FG if short...so it was meaningless by refs giving them 1st down or not...they were going for it no matter what....

Ok Refs so if refs got the spot correct and they were short..next play Brady sneak..game over....U idiots think that Tampa was kicking the FG..and that is my point that Arians said post game HE WAS NOT.. so this is a moot point....
