It's funny my old man is 75 . He's a die hard isles fan. I was just born in 82 but 1993 season with turgeon, malahkov , kasperitis , Steve Thomas ect ect Benoit hogue lol then I was put in misery till about 2001 during those playoff years . My father was an NYPD cop in East NY, Brooklyn during bad times. 1972-1981. He was run over by a drunk driver and his life/career was done. 13 surgeries later made him miserable. Hockey games one of the few times I get smiles from him. I've made it a point to watch every game with him. EVERY GAME since about 2012-13. Brutal watching isles go to conference finals 2 years in a row recently. My old man is in chronic pain and he says all he wants is to see isles win another cup. I feel good about this team . Can't wait for pucks. Sorry for the novel. My father always said the isles would've had 5 straight if not for Gretzky. That oilers team loaded in 83-84 and isles got old . Mike Bossy he says best pure goal scorer ever. I can only watch highlights. Bol
