People are not paying attention to who Seattle has  played in their last 10 games they played a bunch of teams that have no offense and don't win football games .

I saw an interview with Carrol yesterday and they asked what cause the spark you didn't look like the same team early in the
year ?  

 I could have answered that question better than Carrol 

you play a collection of stinkiest  teams in the league that have no offense    that's how that's why .

I personally think the Seattle defense just average and their offense  is below average and without Russel Wilson legs this is offense is in the bottom of the league .

Seattle hasn't played a decent team in a long time getting +7 with Green Bay is a gift   look for Green Bay winning SU

Cam Newton and that terrible offense was a pick 6 away from making that a very close game...and that's with no offense threats at all...

Rodgers injury is being way over-played here


Give me a break, Seattle dominated that game vs Carolina. They did that all season long in the second half. Played low scoring games into the 4th and would blow teams away.

AFC West was a tougher division than the AFC East. And the NFC West tougher than the NFC north. That's why teams like the Niners, Chiefs and Chargers suffered (missed the playoffs) and why the AFC north that got to play the NFC south had 3 teams in the playoffs. Seattle didn't go up against the top offenses but did go up against top defenses, which is why this game will be decided by the matchup between Seattle O and Greenbay D.

Seattle was like 9-11 on 3rd down and 8 or longer....they got very lucky.  Add the pick 6...and that game was much closer...plus with a Carolina team with no offense...

As for their "low scoring games" in the 2nd half of the season....

Their last 6 games were:

Sanchez, Stanton, Hill, a 3rd stringer and Kap twice.....not hard to keep those offenses in check

Look at who San Diego beat this year...Sea (good), Buff (good), Jags (ha), Jets (ha), Oak (ha), Oak (ha), Rams (ha), Balt (good), Sf (ehh)....they had 3 quality wins

The chiefs lost to Oak, Tenn and Zona with no QB...

Chiefs and SD didn't deserve to come close to being in the playoffs...

Carolina   every team should dominate Carolina 

 Total yards gained in this game was even 

3  Turnovers a pick 6  and Seattle only scored 31 

If you think Seattle is the Seattle of last year your wrong

 I bet Seattle against the Giants i thought i was going to lose that bet , if not for the Giants self destructing the Giants probably win the game , the 38-17  final score don't tell the story,  and the Giants stink 

Your going to be in for a rude awakening  come Sunday if you think Seattle is going to cover this spread let alone win the game 

 If Your a team that loses to KC and St Louis your not invincible like everyone is making Seattle to be

I'm new to this board. I visit Vegas a couple times a year, but am always there for Championship weekend. Being a Chicagoan I see the Pack play our bad news Bears twice a year. They usually light us up, but that's a given. I do respect Rogers regardless of the rivalry. He's the best QB, IMHO, in the NFL, but not with a tweaked calf. I see everyone 66% taking the Pack to cover. I would take the Pack if Rogers was 100%. He's not. We saw Payton's performance with his leg injury. I don't think previous stats will have the influence that his injury will have. Seattle will attack. He may be sidelined by the second half. I wouldn't bet a backup to win the NFC against Seattle. Everyone is hyping up the Pack now, but when they loose, they'll say, "Aaron was hurt. They would have won if he was healthy". Right. I agree. I don't think it will be close. My two cents anyway.

Simon look really exposed against Car 2nd WR, if Maxwell is not playing, GB's chances go way up.  Last I checked, PC said he's playing but then again, never heard of any mention of his injury before this past weekend.

You can debate how good Sea defense is but there's no question they're much much better than Dal D.  If Rodgers is in same condition as last weekend, hard to reason they're going to beat Sea away when they won on a close (albeit correct) call at home.  Sea offense is not that far behind Dal and Sea put up 24 offensive pts w/o running game this past week.

If Maxwell is healthy, hard to see how GB wins.  Rodgers had 2 wks to heal for last game so reasonable to say he won't be in better shape w/ 1 wk rest.  From most accounts, this kind of injury doesn't get better in 1 wk.

One of these games could go down to wire. I like to think it will be NE/Indi, because NE is playing these games so tight, like the weight of the world is on their shoulders. They've tasted two defeats in the SB and know what these opportunities mean (and how rare they are). Seattle is still a young team and has not tasted the bitter defeats NE has. They relish the moment without letting the moment be a burden to them.

Seattle has the edge at almost every position on the field (and the much better coach too). When the Packers played on the road against a quality defense such as Buffalo, Detroit, or Seattle, the Packers hardly scored. They struggled mightily against the Dolphins and squeaked by the Vikings. In the spot where it seems like the Packers edge is most obvious, the QB, I don't believe they have any such advantage in this game given the giant drop off in the play of Rodgers on the road, particularly when facing pressure and especially not when injured. Seattle by a lot IMO. GL
