Philadelphia Eagles defensive superstar Jalen Carter and other team members have been struck down by a mystery illness on Super Bowl week.

The 23-year-old defensive tackle has been one of Philadelphia's leading players on their run to a Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans. However, just a few days before the Eagles and Chiefs meet inside the Caesers Superdome to claim the Vince Lombardi Trophy, Carter fell sick.

According to NBC, Carter was limited in practice yesterday and has not done any media work. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio revealed that other members of the Eagles team had been hit with illness days before the NFL season finale.

I did hear last night on the NFL Network that Jaylen Carter is currently dealing with sickness. cool

 Only because of the meds. Only reason eagles lose.  They woulda kept it close but still lost.  It's just another game I'm trying to make this into something it's not.  If Taylor swift's celebrations are authentic then at least someone cares.  I'm not offended the NFL basically sucks.
