wow the chiefs money. all the rooms reporting chiefs $ and over dough in the mid 60%
Over closer to 80%
Do you think "the fix" is in? What kind of secret directives will the NFL hand down to the refs? Call more holding penalties? Refuse to overturn PI calls? Please tell us what the fix is that you are predicting.
Impossible for the public to be correct on such a simple matchup, right?!?

Why does "the fix" need to be in for the public side to lose? Not saying it will, just curious why you think this. Public perception is built into every number. If perception is off, so is the number. It doesn't require a fix this to occur.

Are you a ticket writer for a sportsbook?
In Vegas, I have heard ticket writers tell bettors if one of the sides is being bet heavily...surprisingly, many of them aren't shy about sharing this information either. One of them gave me some valuable advice once about a certain pitcher...
Too bad we don't have more ticket writers share what they know on here...

The challenge for the books isn't who wins. What they lose in straight up. They make plenty back in points and all the other side junk.
Everyone that takes the over will be the balance.

@lancer89074 I wish more ticket writers would share info too.....they have seen lots on the other side of the counter. when Im in Vegas, I always make it a point to tip/strike up friendly conversations w people behind the counter during slow times
@statfreak I wish bookies like you would share info more, I have always found that going against the smaller recreational player is the best way to win. I love playing craps...and most of my money is made going against the small players/beginners at the table. someone mentioned this, but I would think an even larger consensus will be on the OVER the total.

Mahomie has thrown a grand total of ZERO picks in his four nfl playoff games. 2 is a bit of a stretch but I'm sure there is a prop bet out that that will pay you +money on that over.

Yes, I agree...the total amount of money bet on each side is where 'the rubber meets the road'.

That's fine. He'll just get sacked more anyway.
