I was on the Seahawks against the Eagles last Sunday night, but the Jaguars will be my top play this week. The Jaguars are 8-4, but nobody has given them any credit yet. They certainly aren’t considered a playoff threat, and most people still have the Titans as winning the division. What’s hurt them mostly, is that they haven’t had a meaningful game since October 8th when they beat the Steelers by 21. Since then, they have battled the Colts twice, non-conference Cardinals, non-conference Rams before they were considered a contender, the winless Browns, the 3-5 Chargers at the time, and the 3-4 Bengals at the time. If there was any time to make some noise, it would be against the Seahawks after they just beat the Eagles on SNF. After this matchup, the Jags face Tom Savage and Jimmy Garoppalo. This is a statement game for Jacksonville, and a game they will take very seriously.
On the other side, Seattle needs to win this game to stay on pace to win the division, but their schedule has had many big games that they have had to get up for week after week already. The last 4 weeks for them were primetime game against division opponent Cardinals, primetime game and playoff revenge against NFC champ Falcons, divisional game against the 49ers, and a primetime game against the 10-1 Eagles. Additionally, following this game they face the divisional leading Rams, the Cowboys, and the Cardinals. Surely Seattle will want to win this game, but where will the extra juice come from? Seahawks have to travel cross country to Jacksonville with a huge motivational disadvantage, while missing two of their best defenders in Cam Chancellor and Richard Sherman. One might think Seattle managed fine against the Eagles, but despite holding them to 10 points - they actually gave up 400+ total yards of offense, and were lucky to win by the margin they did. Jags should be able to move the ball at home here, and Seattle is just 2-4 this year in games where they give up 17+ points.

Lastly, Seattle is leaning heavily on Russell Wilson due to a poor offensive line and poor running game and his mobility has bailed them out thus far tremendously. Against Jacksonville’s #1 defensive line, things will get a lot tougher for him.
Jaguars -3 +115 ($7,500)
Note: This line has since dropped to -2.5 due to two of the Jags better defenders being questionable. Keep an eye on Jalen Ramsey who’s listed as the #2 cornerback in the league this year stats wise, and linebacker Telvin Smith. I’m hoping atleast Ramsey suits up but looks like he is game-time decision. The line will either drop to -2 or up to -3 depending on their status Sunday morning.

I've been quietly sitting on this one all week LC.
Ramsey and Bouye are corners that will be able to stick the Seahawks WR's. I think the Jags can get away with man coverage in blitz situations. As good as Wilson has been avoiding the rush, he will be tested to the upmost extend in Jacksonville.
My one concern is the Jags run game. Seattle "should" be able to bottle up Fournettte, leaving a lot on Bortels. That's tough territory to be in. I may sit Fournette in fantasy this week.
*sidenote, the Seahawks have logged a ton of travel miles all ready, 17,500. With the trip to Jacksonville it will put them at 22,374.
Good Luck

Bortles is a big obstacle for me in this game. I understand the Jags defense is very very good but Jimmy Graham has really allowed the offense of the Seahawks to open up. He's a mismatch nightmare; I know he's good for a drop or two a game but with Richardson, Lockett, Baldwin, McKissack and Graham....what does Jacksonville do? Better yet what does Seattle do? They have the experience in knowing how to stack these type defenses from the 49er and Cardinals days when the NFC West was a stacked defensive division. If I were Seattle I'd spread them out and work the middle of that field with their running backs. I'd force those safeties up leaving single coverage.
As for Bortles, he will have to beat Seattle because I can tell you that Seattle will key on Fournette big time. Bortles can be a turnover machine and you know Seattle will be hunting for him! I'm excited for this game because somebody is gonna get exposed. Two teams with similar records....does Jacksonville take that next step here or does Seattle finally get just enough from their running game? I love the new kid Davis in the backfield. He runs hard. Imo I don't think Seattle is as in trouble as people think with that secondary being banged up and I don't think Jacksonville is as good as people are giving them credit for. If you force Jacksonville to be one dimensional, is Bortles gonna win games for them with his arm and those receivers? Not sure. Can't wait for this one.

Only play i'm on for the early games. This is one of my bigger bets of the season, unfortunately locked it in prior to hearing Ramsey was questionable. He is extremely underrated. I'm still holding out hopes he plays. Still love the play if he doesn't play, but probably wouldn't have put in $7,500.
However, my play of the season will be on primetime this weekend.

Adding Duane Brown has helped Russ Wilson. I think he shouldnt have problem evading the Jags D-line. The Seahawks should ram Mike Davis and Thomas Rawls down their throats.
Sip on that plus money honey!
