If I told you before week 1 that Raiders would be a 6 point favorite over the Jags, you would look at me like I am crazy.
After one week Raiders are over valued and Jags are under valued. These two teams are both bottom 5 in the NFL, no one one should be a 6 point favorite over the other.
Plus, Gabbert is out this week and Henne moved the ball last year (without MJD none the less).
Just some food for thought.

Lind, I like Oak in this spot, Home opener for them and a dreadful Jags team traveling across the county, Not that Oak is world beaters, just feel its a better place for them...

The line for this game before week 1 was played out was Oakland -3.
So we have a 3pt swing off of week1.
Its up to you how you react after seeing both squads perform.
Pryor and the raiders obviously performed a lot better than anyone imagined, and the jags were, well, terrible,Did that have a lot to do with who both squads were playing ? probably.
Ive no dog in this fight, but just to put some extra input in there.

Henne playing scared me away from this game. I can see the raiders winning by a touchdown easy with Gabbert playing but now im not sure either way I did tease it down to raiders straight up win

agree with weeks here. Both teams seem to be moving in the opposite direction, and Pryor is worth 1-2 points in this scenario. Raiders were terrible with Flynn, they are much more tolerable with Pryor. The whole team gets up and plays with a fire under their behind when Pryor is the QB.

I don't think they should be favored by even 3 over anyone. This is still a bad team and I give the Jags an excellent shot at winning this one outright.

Maybe only one team in the NFL should Oakland give up 6 points to and that is Jacksonville. Jaguars OL is terrible. At least the Raiders showed something last week, but the NFL is always changing on a weekly basis. But in the end both of these teams are bad so take the points.

the jags have been in spots like this many times last year and each time they got demolished. ya the line should not be that high but its just hard to bet on them

Nothing wrong with the line it's a little on the high side but if it was 3 or 3.5 I'd take it in a second. Ya they are both bottom of the barrel teams but even at the bottom there's different levels. Jags are terrrrible, It was a joke that KC was favored by -3.5 last week

Everything points to Jags being the play if you want to bet this game, but man is it hard to want to bet the Jags at any point this season based on the game I watched them play hosting KC.
I might just go with my feel and Oak. Sometimes the square play is the right play and we're just overthinking this one.

Oakland is one of the worst home teams & terrible ATS as favorites. Henne is much better than Gabbert and I doubt that Pryor plays as well. Really like Jacksonville here.

why wouldnt MJD have a field day and open up the pass for Henne?
KC very underrated this year only because Denver looks to own that division. inside the box thinking doesnt work well when it comes to the NFL. all the chiefs were missing was a QB and now they got one.
the raiders.........need i say more?
i agree with Rg3skins about the colts playing conservative...and...
colts dont have an MJD...
looking forward to starting Drew on my fantasy league.
