What’s he worth. I say not much, so lay it on.
2nd to 3rd round pick...He's no spring chicken....Been in the league 12 seasons...going to be 33 next month...Short term answer for some team thinking they can win now.

Can't go wrong with either coach(Reich/Shanahan) getting their hands on a QB of Stafford's level. The dude sacrificed his body for the lowly Lions for that long. I could only imagine that being on an actual competitive team would do wonders for his psyche.

Yeah, also in a dome. And the afc south doesn't play cold weather games like vs Chicago and GB.

Exactly. He could be there 3-4 years and the Colts would remain a playoff contender. They can find their future franchise QB during this time as well

I would love to see him in New England or New Orleans or Indy. Those would be excellent fits for him. Strong teams, great head coaches, weapons and good defensive lines. Would be a breathe of fresh air from those bums he played with in Detroit. He could be the QB to get New Orleans to the Super Bowl next season. He is worth a shot in my humble opinion.

Stafford has sort of underachieved.. just did enough with the Lions.. will never be an elite QB. Those hoping he will with a new team is just hoping.. if he was elite he would have done more with the Lions. Good Qb’s elevate their teams.. seriously zero playoff wins in 12 years. 3 total appearances..

Stafford didn't underachieve. The lions have been underachieving since the 1957 Bobby Lane Lions team. How many playoff games did the greatest running back in the history of the NFL win with the Lions? The organization is trash. Not Staffords fault

AMD, I know that you are a Detroit fan. Asked you what you thought of the Lions new head coach hire on your thread. Weird, they hire a "ra ra" guy and sign him to a 6 year deal? He's never coached and got 6 years?
In his press conference he swore, and was talking about his team taking out players knee caps.
What could go wrong?

I appreciate your posts buddy. I saw your question and I wanted to give a thoughtful answer but i was at work and then time passed me by.. im not happy with the Campbell hire but I love our gm and I love the hire of the Chargers ex head coach as our OC. Campbell is a blow hard. He reminds me of the shittstain they just fired. Different physique, same IQ. Our GM is a young Scout by trade. I think our draft picks will finally be something of substance. We need a talented body at every position.

This is what fantasy football stats has done to thought s about good not great players
stafford has made a career being down 4/5 touchdowns in late 3/4th quarers banging out 2/3
touchdowns yaaaa! I think he is a nice Qb but no thanks

Lol y’all gonna see who Stafford is next year if he goes to the right team. The Detroit franchise (Ford family) is pathetic. We will be the next cincy... jags... next year. Another “rebuild” which means we will take a WR in the first round to sell a jersey. It’s sad. But Stafford is a stud. I can’t wait to see him excel with a good team.
