I’m a Miami fan and was bummed to see Fitz Magic go down. I hope Washington can win
Aloha
ok I’m trying to decide between these 4 teams. Any insight. I need point so the more I win by the higher I can climb in the pool. I also want to save some of the better teams for later in the season as some use them up already
Pats
Bronco’s
Washington
Browns

Should be Packers easiest games of the season on paper..Lions are real bad , almost like a "must win " spot for rodgers.
Take a look at the next week ( tough sledding ) ..If you have doubts about the Packers moving forward , using them up this week makes sense imo ..
Best of luck Brother

Was a sweat but the redskins get us through this week... should be fun watching the rest of the players sweat it out .... maybe especially Green Bay backers Monday night

Well Washington made me nervous and the Giants played better than I thought they would. For my points league I got 1 point and that is better then 0 or loosing points. Good note is I can sit back and see how the rest do.

Ok, like this thread, I'm joining in the conversation here, invisible reader for many years, first time poster :) I started out with 3 entries in a Survivor Pool, Buffalo let me down - Boo. Down to 2, need to be careful.
Week 2, I was thinking Green Bay, I look at future values, I also use a Home Team Rule which is wishy washy this week with a couple of teams I'm looking to use up who are on the road for my other picks- New England and Denver. (I'm a Colorado Girl so I love Denver but got to go with head and not heart right?) I try to save the Power House Teams for further down the road, but sometimes you have to pull them out. The other is Pittsburgh, who beat Buffalo week 1, nobody is talking about Pitts, what's up with that?. And what about Seattle? I'm trying to use teams with no future value, BUT I don't want to get too cute and have it backfire. Comments and Advice Please!
Also Congratulations to those of you who picked Washington Thursday Night, I wasn't going to touch that game LOL

Well first things first... let me congratulate you on your first post! Sorry about your Buffalo pick but not really. (Steelers fan)
Green Bay is a team I’m not touching for a while until I see something change. I don’t really care that it’s the lions and that they SHOULD kick their ass on paper.
With that being said I got lucky with Washington and I only have 1 entry in my pool so I don’t have to make another pick... a friend of mine has 6 entries in the same pool and he’s using 3-4 on GB. Scary to say the least
I like the broncos to win that game ... thinking Denver’s defense gives the young rookie QB a hard time.
As I mentioned earlier I’m a Steelers fan so that’s my heart speaking but I think they win.
There’s one game that I don’t see hardly any people touching and that’s the Cincinnati/Chicago game... I think Chicago will play a lot better and would be a nice team to get off your list with what you said about saving the “powerhouse” teams for later in the season.
What was your week 1 pick?
looking forward to the banter and BOL whatever you choose

Thanks for replying Holy, on my other 2 entries which I'm still alive - one entry I rolled with Carolina and the 2nd I did pull out a Big Boy Team using up LA Rams on that one.
So, Steelers fan, my brother-in-law and sister big time fans as well... RU not feeling confident they will bring the win at home tomorrow? Big win week 1 away sometimes can bring possible let down?
GB does scare me, but I feel they Need this win, Redemption Win. At home. Cincy / Chicago, I'm going to take a closer look at it. Thank you :)

I always thought the OT wins were the letdown spots myself. Remember the Steelers won 13 games in a row last year with very little rushing game. I know bens a year older but hey so am I. Also najee Harris should be a beast but it will take some time to get it all together. The OLINE is the big part of this problem for me.
both of your picks scare me to say the least but I’m wishing you BOL
Im not sure what to think about the Rams team just yet although I did bet them week 1 against a weaker bears team. They did look good but they have a little tougher competition this week. Nobody really knows at the end of the day and that’s why they play the games.
Panthers/Saints is a division game that I personally see as a low scoring one. No side here for me but gun to my head... New Orleans
On top of the HOME team thing you mentioned... I try to stay away from division games also(I know I played one this week)
At the end of the day I think if I had to make another pick... FOR ME it would be the bears, broncos or the Steelers... (Steelers being last choice because I think I have more potential saving them for later in the season)

Ommegerd, Broncos or Patriots both were good picks. Holyh3llz your Chicago pick - beautiful but 3pt spreads make me nervous, their telling me they're not sure but someone is going to win by a field goal & then its just a push (that's just me) but I got cute and didn't take any of them. Last minute I started over thinking it which always means trouble lol. Looked for some home teams to use. Pitts bothered me after coming off that big win so didn't go there, thankfully.. Tossed Seattle and Arizona around and went with Arizona, which made me sweat it out until last minutes of the game winning by 1 point! But its a "W" and "I'm ALIVE!" Happy Dance hahaha
Now I have tonight's game! Hope everyone else survived yesterday and for those of us on Green Bay, BOL

Survived with Browns yesterday in my big money and used Tampa in 2 others.
looks like plenty of options for week 3.
Streaming against Jets looks nice rest of way. Broncos 2-0 going into their homes opener against the rookie QB who’s been struggling.
Also liking Cardinals over the Jags, Ravens over the Lions, Bills over Wash. Panthers seem good over Texans with a backup QB in there but Thursdays always scare me.

The Broncos look good, home opener against the Jets. Also Arizona playing well, although it is an away game in Jacksonville, I like that QB Kyler Murray, he's got talent. Also looking at the Browns.
Now Im also thinking I've got teams I'd like dump per say, save some others for down the road, looking ahead this might be the week for Carolina because I still have them available on one pool and the rest of their schedule looks not as easy. In last 2 weeks Houston put up 37 & 21 pts and at one point came close to beating Cleveland, I know because I was watching this score and hoping they would win, this would have knocked out alot of players in my pool - and that's how you win a Survivor Pool, being on a team the minority picked and hoping the majority has a fluke loss. But once they came close Houston quit scoring. Anyway Carolina in last 2 wks has put up 19 & 26 pts. Houston is at home, Carolina favored by 7, 2-0, seems like the obvious choice. So... could this be a trap game? Thoughts?
