The NFL is all about stories. Here's what they can tell:
Andy Reid versus his former team is the obvious storyline, but there's another involving Reid. In 2013, when he took over in Kansas City, he did not retain Nick Sirianni as wide receivers coach. Sirianni is now the head coach in Philadelphia.
The Kelce Brothers
But here's the biggest story of them all:
It will be the first Super Bowl with two black starting quarterbacks.
AFC Championship: Chiefs -1 NFC Championship: Eagles ML

Oh good... I was worried we wouldn't get any "Script" predictions this week.
You want analysis instead?
The Chiefs are NOT going to lose back-to-back AFC Championship Games at home to the same team. The Eagles lead the league in sacks and had 5 more on Saturday. They will feast on the inexperienced Purdy next Sunday.

Not sure if that qualifies as in-depth analysis. I'm not necessarily questioning the matchup prediction... just the reasoning behind it. If Mahommes were healthy, I might expect the same matchup... but he's not!

Cincy/SF for sure………KC D is awful……..just like the Bills……..not good enough to win it!
I wouldn't say for sure, since both road teams winning in the conference title games doesn't happen a lot... but I'd say this is the most likely of the 4 possible matchups.

There’s a story line for any of the 4 possible matchups for the Super Bowl ffs when are people going to shut up with what the nfl wants for storylines? You honestly think the NFL cares if it’s Mahomes or Burrow? Or if it’s Hurts or Purdy? No matter who makes it to the big game there will be storylines and they will be told, and people will watch and then morons that believe the NFL manipulates games for “ratings” will point and say see it’s rigged cause now they can tell stories and make us watch the game that we were all going to watch anyways

This thread is why I have no faith in humanity. Some mental midget is worried about story lines and the color of the QB skin. Lol, not that it matters but Mahomes is half white. Maybe the OP watches too much MAGA bullshit?

What if it’s SF facing KC on the grand stage…. Part 2, the rematch… SF’s high draft pick goes down… Jimmy G was set to leave Sf.. they have him come back.. they on a win streak… oh no, he goes down.. Mr Irrelevant steps in… on a 12 game streak…. Blah blah blah….
No gamble No future

Fun read until the black QB started.First Mahomes is NOT black and who really cares about peoples skin color! This is the problem we have here in America we love to label people by skin color, please enough.I do like that Eagle/Chiefs matchup, be fun, but can Eagles score on that SF defense and how healthy is Hurts? Then of course 49ers and Bengals have other plans lol

Who said that? You are saying the NFL wants a "storyline" for the Super Bowl correct? I am asking then why didn't Buffalo win with what would be an amazing story line? Of course you chose to deflect and not answer that. You response was as expected. No answer to the question you were asked.
You're not too bright are you Mr. 50%?
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

The people who report, and write stories are very good at what they do. The pregame nfl stories before the game involves a lot af people who are good at their craft. They will be ready for ANY outcome. People get educations in media and communications, and graphic arts.
Whatever happens will be covered. Live with it

Mainstream sports' media is filled with gaseous, hollow men and women who for the most part don't have an original thought between them. They are unable to conduct worthwhile interviews as they ask the most unimaginative questions, offer no gifted insight, and they are all company stooges putting in their time for a paycheck.
Doubt it? Read some old columns written by Jim Murray or way back by Grantland Rice...they were real sports journalists unlike these modern day frauds.
