Niether team steelers or raven will have any run game here this game will be SHOOTOUT In the air and with the protection issues and the way Pitt front seven has been pressuring the QB Flacco better find some soft sod to land on. I'm impressed by the way Pitt defense has played here of late held kc outta the inzone and the secondary tore the bengals up I have watched the raven and they have issues everywhere right now secondary o line and the only chance I see Baltimore pulling this one out against perhaps the hottest team along with Dallas coming into the playoffs is if flacco tossed 4-5td and can survive the usaual Harrison beat down he's gonna take. Pitt will miss bell no doubt he is 40% of the touches for the steelers but defense and Big Ben ability to stand in the pocket and make plays will push the steelers to victory and Denver next week. Ugly game here but steelers denfense will be the difference it's the playoffs throw the norm out the window the better QB and team will win I DONT SEE A ELITE DEFENSE IN THE NFL AT THIS TIME OR YEAR TO BE HONEST WHICH BRINGS US TO THE IT FACTOR QB PLAY AND THE FOUR BEST IN THE AFC WILL BE STANDIMG LUCK-Big Ben- Brady and old mans manning who has looked like Jeff George of late Good football talk and BOL this week guys Oh and sick of hearing on here Indy can't stop the run get serious bengals aren't a power run team to fear and when the colts are up fast and quick they won't have to worry about the run with a 14 point lead Not to mention take green outta the game with perhaps the best cover corner in the game Davis on him.

Few questions
1. Why has the total been dropping consistently all week? Dont tell me the weather, forecast hasnt changed all week.
2. Steelers defense? I keep reading about this steeler defense. Who have they played? They kept kc(chase daniels and a receiving corps that hasnt scored all year) out of the endzone? They tore up the bengals who basically didnt have aj green. They got schooled by Harry Douglaus with julio out. Torched by AJ game before that. Torched by a bad saints road team game before that. Maybe their d is improved, but pointing to their recent success as proof is a joke.
3. 14 point lead for the colts? Maybe late in the game, Colts suck first half and never get early lead.
4. Davis is amazing yes, but he also doesnt move off his island at right corner and played 96% of snaps there this year. Whether its AJ or Sanu, they will see plenty of both Davis and Toler....davis wont be shadowing anyone.
5. Bens ability to stand in the pocket has a lot to do with Bell. Bell out creates a lot of intangibles that no one can predict and Ben might have a lot less time than hes used too.

Suuma, you said Ravens was no brainer for you because you have two big futures bets on them. Wouldn't the no Brainer move be to take the Steelers and hedge a little? Seems like you already have enough on the Ravens. Just a thought buddy. GL

Gonna pay to see it. I was dead wrong on the Indy game last time, because I simply misread the situation. Indy played like they really don't care and missing Hilton was huge for them.
GL this week!

Thanks for the post. Trice responded a few things I agree with. Steelers defense have faced teams who were missing their best target and KC who haven't had one WR touchdown this year.
I think Cincy have been a very good running team late in the season.

Lions are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
Stafford can't beat good teams. last 7 games they played they were 4-3 .
Wins
Chicago twice Worst team in the NFL
tampa Second Worst team in the NFL
minnesota by 2
Loses to GB by 10, NE by 25, Arizona by 8
I'll take a hot Dallas team at home.
See my thread headline.
Dallas being hot is one of the most written reasons on this forum to take the Cowboys. But to be honest, I couldn't find many logical reasons to take the Boys.

Why are so many people complaining about the Detroit offense ? They were missing their RB and best WR in the league for big parts of the season and they have a mediocre o-line. It's logical they are not blowing other teams out week in week out. They were still playing for the division title last week.

I thought about it as well and I may start next week if they advance. I played the Ravens small but the more I read the discussions on covers about the game, the more I looked into the matchup and I really like the Ravens to win this game with Bell being out.
Even if I am going to hedge, I would still post the Ravens as my play because I like them ATS tonight.
Thanks buddy and good luck!

The weather in Pittsburgh will definitely be a factor. It is hard to do anything with freezing rain. I would wait until right before game time to do anything.'
Some roads closed and ESPN said it might be tough for Fans to get to the game.....they'll get there, but how will it affect the timing on long pass plays.
I think the biggest factor in this game will be WEATHER and not whether one team does this or that.

He rushed 290 times for 1,361 yards, 4.7 YPC and 8 TD.
He was targeted 105 times for 83 completions and 854 yards through the air.
They are missing their workhorse who accounted for the third most rushing yards in the NFL and the most receiving yards by any RB. In addition, Bell is Pittsburgh's second best receiver.
And now you tell me "No Bell, no problem" ?
Summa, I'm leaning with you here, but find it a bit fishy that Pitt lost Bell and the line barely moved.
