Teasersystem week 11 I defin

Question

Had my worst week of the year last week going 3-11 on posted plays losing $2,740. I definitely didn't feel great about what the numbers were picking last week with GB especially so luckily I did dial back a lot of the bets to $200 instead of the normal $300. I also threw in some late teasers on teams that weren't fitting the system so was able to lessen the losses for the week. Also found an awesome angle for the second half of MNF and won back almost half my teaser losses there.

This is why you bet teasers. You have very skilled players on every team and you end up with lots of back door covers when you are getting an extra 13 points.

I was never worried and even made a nice second half bet on Saints that cashed easily.

I make a lot of halftime or late bets and don&#x27;t post them on here. I also don&#x27;t tout a record of wins and losses on them so it doesn&#x27;t matter. The only reason I mentioned this one was to make a point of emphasis that I was obviously not worried about losing the teaser because I made another bet at halftime that would essentially be the same game spread as the teaser.

Anyone who downplays teasers in the NFL has never given them a chance. Another undefeated week in the books with a 15-0 record. Overall posted teaser record is now 32-11.

Agreed. They are a waste of money in CFB but NFL they can really benefit you. Games are so much closer such a high percentage of the time. Look at the browns. They are pathetic, but  9-2     20   .

9-2 in keeping games within 20 points or less. And only twice this year have they been dogs less than 7 points. With 13 point teasers pushing them to getting 20&#x2B; points most of the time your odds are pretty high they cover. Not saying Browns are good picks for teasers, as getting their opponents to a plus number is probably better, but just showing the parity in the NFl even with crappy teams.

Do your ties lose or demote to the next lower level?   the best teaser I got at my book is &#x2B;10 pts at -130 and ties lose.   All other teasers are &#x2B;7 pts and ties demote.

Ties lose on 13 and 10 point teasers. I just found a second local bookie to shop lines and found out he charges -140 for 13 teasers though which sucks. You want to find one where they&#x27;re -130.
