Goat, you are missing the point. This losing Jets team has only won 4 games the entire season. There is a big reason for that, and why you cannot see it, is mind blowing. Take your Jets, and we will see what happens. I know I am very comfortable with my choice of Houston, as I do not wear blinders, I can see the total picture, and all indications indicate that Houston will not only win the game but cover the spread. I will be at the pay window, and I will have the beer on ice waiting to celebrate this cover by Houston, and I will have the Corona girls handing it out to us.

What are you trying to say? Houston will not score on the road much more than the home teams?
Asking a team to cover 6.5 points when they have been worst in the league in passing yards given up the last 3 weeks is a big ask. You'd have to be top 5-10 in the league in points scored to have an easier time, Houston is 12th in the league at 24.8 ppg, Jets score on average 20.8 ppg. There's about a Field Goal in value in this line and Jets are playing at home where they score an additional half a point on average. Call it 25-22 and you have 3.5 points of play, not saying Jets win this one, doubtful they win SU, but a cover I think is definitely within reach.

The same last 3 weeks you like to talk about they only gave up 17 points to the Titans, 13 to the Browns, and 24 to the Colts. The higher amount to the Colts is pretty acceptable because they have a very solid offense.

What motivation do the Jets have to play this game???
Listen to yourself, you are using win-loss record and MOTIVATION as your arguments, eesh, dude.
Not sure where you get that from. What motivation does the Jets have to play this game??? Houston on the other hand is playing for a divisional title, so they are not about to just go through the motions. You are going to a strong effort. The Jets, they would just as soon see the season come to an end.

Here's a better question genius, what Motivation do the Texans have to win by 7 points vs. 1 point?
None.

I'd value giving up 300-400 yards passing across 3 games a bigger indicator than the number of points they gave up across those 3 games. Add in over the last 3 games Jets are ranked 8th (46.15%) in opponent Red Zone scoring efficiency vs. Houston's 23rd rank (71.43%), and I think I have more than adequately proven my point.

It is just my belief that because Houston is a motivated team that is playing to win there division, they are going to be more focused which will enable them to score more points, as well as shut down the Jets offensive, where as the Jets are going to play to get the game over with, as there season is over.

Add in the fact the Jets have not give up 300 yards passing across their last 3 game either...
Passing is not going to be happening in the rain and wind. It is going to be a game decided by the rushing game, and who has the better rushing game and better rushing defense??? Houston.

I wouldn't. Houston has constantly kept the opposing team to low scores week after week, that's not a coincidence. And NYJ actually has a bad passing game anyway.

3% chance of precipitation, 47 degrees, and 8 mph wind will have ZERO IMPACT on the play calling of this game.
