bills lost to the patriots once this year and the spread was -14 which the bills covered now they are playing them once again and the spread is -9...hrmm uh. take the bills. to lose twice in one year to the same team is hard to take for any team in this league. even if bills lose, they will surely cover. If trends works so well everyone would just base their picks on that a lone which i believe you shouldnt. so much more factors in this game. id take the bills. but bol anyways.
Is it? Really? Show me the numbers? I have them, but let me see your research. Got a strong feeling you don't have any...mostly because this statement is inaccurate.

3-23 is hard to ignore.
I actually have done exactly what you say not to do the last 4 years and it has turned out quite well for me. I bet this trend every time possible and will continue to do so until the trend dies. Will it lose one of these times? Yup.
Will it possibly lose this week? Yup.
But to ignore the the legitimacy of this trend or to dismiss without fully abosrbing the overwhelming data that supports the trend is just pure ignorance; plain and simple.
Good luck in whatever you play

This post-Dolphins hangover trend doesn't deter me at all from liking the Bills today against the mighty Pats. I'm sure there is something to it as the Bills and Dolphins have been divisional rivals forever, but this 3-23 thing is far more likely to begin its regression to the mean over the next few seasons than it is to continue to get worse for the Buffalo Bills. Very odd trend, though, in that its been going on for over a decade, but then again, the Bills haven't been good in over a decade.

BigNiner I like the pick and I am playing the Patriots as well. Since the Week 3 matchup, the Patriots have really improved quite a lot:
- Addition of Branch making an instant impact in the passing game - BJ G-E emerging as a reliable runner - Woodhead (one of my favorites) making the most of his chances - Patriots defense and secondary showing improvement
Good luck!

BigNinerDEPENDS on when u bet them if you waited too long they bit off to many points BILLS + 7 1/2 win also last year
SO if Pats win by same margin as last year @ bills + 9 is cover
No play, OVER, here! Just not sure how B-chech will take this one. My instincts tell me that he will not lay off the throttle, but you never know....maybe, 1st H is good play. Still a No Play!

Almost blowing the lead against GB will actually help the Patriots mineset and they will not layoff the gas pedal in this one, this could get ugly for Buff in my opinion I'll lay the 9 points and hope their is no backdoor cover

Props on the research Niner
Your imput is valued as always, but I tend to agree with Bator.
I have to admit it makes me curious as to how many of those games vs. the phins were followed up by another division game, especially the Pats.
Anyways, BOL today Niner

Thanks for the info Niner. I liked the Bills +9, but this trend has me worried. I think I'm gonna lay off the side and play the total on this one. Loving the over 45.5.

Just can't see a reason here for the PATS to play hard. It reminds of the game when the PATS played at Giants Stadium with the division in hand where the GMEN almost beat them.
A restaurant owner bought all the remaining tickets and donated them to the Military Personnel and their families. The crowd will be loud as hell, the team will be motivated and the blackout is lifted.
This will be a see you next year game for BUFFALO directed squarely at the PATS. FINAL SCORE: BILLS 34 PATS 31 BOL TO ALL!!!

Someone posted here a few weeks ago about a trend to fade both the Bills and Dolphins the week after they play each other. I can't explain it. The trend continues. Whoever that poster is, THANKS!!!!

won my biggest bet of the year n nfl on ariz, and it was i thread title like this that convinced me to make it the biggest instead of second biggest,
today i play half those winning on buff +8 and regret i let 1 pt get away, but this is still the best action you can get today
This is what will happen in the long run if you continue to make your wagers based on thread titles, coin flips, throwing darts, or any other mindless method.
