The EAGLES are only allowing 45 run yards per game

There is no line on this game apparently yet.     But do the Bears have a snowballs chance in hell to compete in this game if they can't run the ball with Forte?   
 
 
I'm not making a pick here.  Just speculating.     And the way they knocked Roethlisberger around last week,  Orton should be fearful for his life.    
 
The Bears are going to have to throw the ball to have a chance in this game and that is not their specialty.

Eagles defense looks scary. I would hate to be a QB facing them. Big Ben got tossed around like Tiny Tim last week.

Very good point here. I think Chicago can't hang and Orton will be shitting his pants by the end of the 1st quarter.

Philadelphia rolls here.

They have been drafting defensive players the last few years and it's really starting to pay off. Bunkley and Patterson are run stuffing studs in the middle and the 3 linebackers are some of the best and most underrated players in the league. 6 of the starting front 7 are 25 years old or younger. These guys could be good for a while.

The ability to clog up the run game will force teams to pass on them and Jim Johnson will just blitz the piss out of them. The Bears offense is kicked started by the run game. Forte has been good so far but I think he gets clogged up by this great run D. That means Orton will have to pass with pressure in his face to nobody WR's. Barring any defensive or special teams TD's the Bears won't get 17 points.

The 3 starting runningbacks this Eagles D have faced so far this year have been held to these #'s:

Steven Jackson: 14 carries, 40 yards, 2.9 YPC
Marion Barber: 18 carries, 63 yards, 3.5 YPC
Willie Parker: 13 carries, 20 yards, 1.5 YPC

Overall they are holding RB's to an absurd 2.4 YPC and have given up 1 rushing touchdown in 3 games.

WEEL Egales are the better team but as per usual looky at schedule !
 
SKINS up next at WASH  Eagles might WIN but will not cover !
 
This aint da rams or lions this is da bears with strong defense !
 
PLUS if winds are gusting up to  20 mph and more def low scoring game and Eagles will not cover !

Can you at least try typing in English?  Did you somehow already get the lines for week 5 because I'm trying to figure out how the hell you already know the Eagles won't cover against the Skins next week. Are you also a weatherman? 

Eagles defense looked good against the Rams and Pitt, but looked terrible against Dallas.  Run defense has been dominant in every game, but the pass defense against Dallas looked terrible.

Dude should use Mozilla Firefox, they have auto-spell check.     You beat me to it.   My Cowboys didn;t seem to have a problem with that Eagle "D".     The Eagles have a small defensive front so if the Bears can stay in the game early, maybe thay can wear the Eagle D-line out late and have some success.

I'm an Eagles fan fwiw.  The Eagles defense isn't as bad as it was against Dallas, and isn't as good as it was against Pitt.  I still think they have a top 10 D though.

the eagles numbers are good against the run because they sell out against the run stacking the line with 8 or 9 in the box with high frequency.  3 games is not a good indicator of their true performance.  And playing St Louis is gonna skew those numbers because they are terrible.  They are a good unit but their numbers will fall against the run in the coming weeks. 

Good passing teams will shred them if they continue to do this.  Sure Barber didnt have a huge day against them but Romo sure as hell carved them up.

Matt Forte touched the ball 34 times against the Buccaneers.    27 runs and 7 receptions.     He leads the league with 28 touches a game.    He's a very big part of the Bears offense.

I read that the Chunky Soup Kid, McNabb, was already nursing a sore sternum.  He is tender, misses games every year due to injury, getting older, too.  If the Bears lay a few good tackles or sacks on him, he may be out for a while, hopefully the whole season.  Incidently, I hate the Eagles.

He makes his pick on Friday's at 5 PM.    I will post it immediately either in the College or Pro forum depending on who he picks.  

Yea he had a rough week with the side games last week but the first two weeks of the season he wasn't too bad on those.    I compiled his entire record for every pick he made so far this year and I will post it Friday along with his pick and audio.  

So come back on Friday around 5:30 pm Central.
